Live Concerts

I watched Ryan Adams in Wolverhampton UK last week. I enjoyed the show, he has some good material regardless of how you view his fall from Grace (engineered or not?).
A bit frustrating as due to his health issues there was very little stage lighting and I could hardly see him.
He played a solid solo set with some classic tunes included. He had some banter with the audience which was at times a bit awkward, he appears to be a somewhat troubled soul.

Next month I have tickets to see Bob Dylan, again in Wolverhampton UK. I am hoping he does at least one or two of his better known hits and not just the stuff off the current album.
Never seen him before and really unsure what to expect from his current live shows.
I must admit I bought tickets as this may be the last chance I get to see him as he is getting on in years, not sure if he will tour the UK again?

Just back from Nick Cave... Amazing concert
-
@Tobi great photos, his shows are incredible.
I missed him in Stockholm by a few days but he’s playing here next year! -

@Mizmazzle yep those are better than any of mine or even all of them combined haha

@Tobi love him! One of my favorite concert photos I’ve taken:

Finally went with my brother …
… to see the master of sorrow, the highpriest of despair and his mass of joy and hope. Pretty unctuous, and if it wasn‘t him you could say pathetic. But he can do that, he can sing, scream and whine his songs for 2 hrs and it‘s wonderful and you believe.
Only very few questions remain. Like, does he dye his hair? Or, does Nick Cave sleep in pyjamas, and if so are they chambray? Black chambray, of course.

Very happy the Rolling Stones booked one Canadian date on their last tour. Rumours they are ready to confirm some European dates?

@Mizmazzle tried to share a couple videos but too large, but do know 81 year old Sir Mick Jagger is still running back and forth on a large stage 2 straight hours. I don’t believe 2024 will be the last time i see them live!

@les-l Sounds like you’re a serious Stones fan. I would highly recommend reading a book called Why Charlie Watts Matters. You don’t have to be a drummer to appreciate/enjoy it. A lot of great anecdotes. I am a drummer and I came away with a new level of respect and appreciation for what he did for the band.
