I've been to Gregory Porter concert last night. He's a huge bloke, with awesome stage persona and powerful, beautiful voice. Not my cup of tea, so i didnt get lost in music, but hats down to him and his band.

On a day when the news might or might not have given rise to strong reactions of various kinds, I had some unalloyed good news just now - my place on the waiting list for this came up and I’m going!

A promising start to a week of musical exploration in London coming up at the end of the month - not at all my usual thing, but that’s the point.

@GraemeE - honestly, I completely missed that, but yes it is. To be fair, he didn’t get much (if any) screen time, and we weren’t the closest…
