Ready for one more concert, Bruce in England this time @Giles ?
Unfortunately, am out of the country etc. when Brucie boy is in Manchester and Liverpool.
So please come and spend some time with us on SAKURA instead, and I will film you doing Karaoke to Last Man Standing.

@Matt well done Matt.
I scored fantastic seats for London.
Huge respect to NIN for keeping prices down in this age of price raping fans (I am looking at you Depeche Mode and Oasis)

Well done @Bridger - would have been interested myself but will be out of the country.
Interested in your comment re ticket prices - and certainly not trying to be inflammatory.
I checked, and paid same for 2 DM tickets 18 months ago as the current single Ticketmaster prices.
Am I reading that wrong? Happy if I am.
-
@Nocturama Hi @Nocturama,
Not inflammatory at all!
I purchased tix rather late (on Twickets on the day of the gig from memory), however I was trying to get them on Ticketmaster for a few weeks before and I was shocked at prices. I suspect they were subject to dynamic pricing.
I have seen DM a few times in the last few years and never paid that much, but I did buy the tix early, which might have been the difference.
I believe Labour was looking into dynamic pricing practices after the Oasis shit show, but I don't know if anything has come of it.
-
I did not get great seats and the Ticketmaster set up was dubious at best. First of all there were no GA floor tix available, all it would show me was the tiered seating. There was a $90 ticket in the upper level and a $130 ticket in the lower level. I opted for upper as I’m familiar with the venue and it’s not that big. The cost difference wasn’t justified. I also wasn’t able to sort by price which is BS. TM can suck a dick.
-
@Matt agree Matt.
Live Nation Entertainment, who own TM have sewn up much of the major shows.
They can have a bag of dicks.

QFT
And check this whopper out, where Ticketbastard has the absolute gall to gaslight us about basic market economics in asserting that their multi-market monopolism keeps prices low: https://www.ticketnews.com/2025/01/ticketmaster-argues-that-competition-would-cost-fans-more-money-in-antitrust-suit/
Weird thar eTix fees are an order of magnitude lower than theirs innit?
-
@injunjack Just looked that up, what a great lineup.
-
I'll be all the way over in Barcelona dangit

@mclaincausey If you want some beer related recommendations for BCN, let me know.
