The Iron Heart Forum 15th and the Iron Heart 22nd Anniversary Party

@Mister_Brue We had about 5 hours in town, so it was all a tight squeeze. But it was interesting to see how the city has changed, the last time I was there was decades ago.
-
@Nocturama Lol. We surely would have. But we had a late breakfast at noon, that was enough for most of the day. And then some cheap sandwiches at Heathrow while waiting on the delayed flight...
-
@Alex On the train back, a couple was seated next to us, where the lady was from Germany. She overheard us speaking German and asked what we had done in Gosport. We had difficulties explaining, and she had serious doubts that you could have a good time there.
But man, we had such a great time... We loved ever minute of it.
When coming back to the office this morning, last friday felt like ages ago! -
@Signal11 What bottoms? I see a floating torso, like Casper the Friendly Ghost vibes.

A huge thank you to @Alex and the rest of the IH Crew from me, Mrs H and Little Miss H (and Doggy H) for such a wonderful weekend. I said it two years ago too, but it bears repeating: to pull off an event like this requires so much planning that us punters do not see, and it is even more work to make the end result appear so completely effortless. Well done and thanks to all involved.
There are too many people to mention individually who made our weekend special. I spent less time with old friends than I’d hoped - chasing a busy nipper around… sorry if she got under your feet! - and made new ones I hadn’t anticipated making. You are all wonderful human beings.
Mrs H gets the IH insanity now. I’ll post photos of her wearing her new IHJ-86-BLK out and about.
Anyway, before I waste any more of your day or get soppy, from all the H’s, thank you all again, lots of love, and keep rocking.

Another fantastic weekend. I can only echo the sentiments already expressed here by such great people, and just a huge thanks again from us to @Alex and all the crew for the tireless effort.
The parties are like therapy for me at this point, so I look forward to (need) many more!

@weftyarn I can't wait to see the full collection. Will you do a Google-folder of all the images at full-res like last time? I'd like to get the bib-one printed as big as I can and up on the wall again!

That seems to be a recurring motif of the weekend.
My wife spent substantial parts of our budget on new IH gear, and from what I saw it wasn't any better with @Matt, @endo or @goosehd... -
@tody My wife picked up one of the last IHSH-293-OD’s and loves it. First IH that’s not being ‘borrowed’ from me.
-
@Mister_Brue My wife and I are not actually ‚size buddies‘, so I have nothing to fear The 293 is such a nice piece!
-
@tody We are all crack-heads who, rather than listen to the sensible people in our lives, have chosen to share our crack.

I would like to make some prints for frames too!

Oh, and I really look forward to seeing whatever @SamD was cooking up with his video camera all weekend...
