Resort Wear/Resorts

@Mizmazzle I went with the regular because they weren’t as heavy, and since I only usually wear shirts in the extreme heat, I need them to be a little lighter. I was tempted though. Are they ever too hot?

@Sarina gave me a pair of these for Xmas. They are brilliant......
-
@mclaincausey These all look great! Bummed that all of their lounge shirts are sold out in my size. That lavender is awesome

Battenwear is great for resorts or home lounging.
ordered one of these

@endo i have it in gray. Since @seawolf mentioned liking the lavender one I will tag him too to say that it’s perfect for sitting around the pool. It’s a soft stretchy terry cloth.
Battenwear has become to my relaxing summer wear what Iron Heart is for my normal day to day wear. Though I do love my light IH gear for these purposes as well. The camp shorts and hiking pants and shorts are favorites too.

@mclaincausey Picked up a couple Battenwear items. Some local shorts and a terry tee that was half price. I'll definitely be back for a lounge shirt when they're back in stock. Thanks for the rec!

@Mizmazzle I haven't bought new summer clothes in years, so this is a big closet refresh! I'm stoked to have some killer pieces to wear!
-
Great fit @endo !!
-
@endo mine fits loose and looks kind of dumpy. Which is perfectly fine for its intended purpose but yours looks legitimately like something you could wear more broadly than I can my Fat Guy shirt

If you strike out @seawolf i believe they run this every season.
Their climbing pants, climbing shorts, and camp shorts were revelations for me. I feel naked without a belt but they all have integrated cinch webbing belts and great patterning and fabrics for relaxing or active pursuits. The climbing pants I have are a khaki fabric with a 4 way stretch and crotch gusseting, but even though they are somewhat technical they don’t look it or even feel it: the fabric has slub on its face and a very classic hand, and then the interior is brushed and fleecelike. Two hand and one back pocket are zipped. You could actually climb in them.
They make a corduroy lounge pant I regret not having copped too.
While I don’t have anything other than the handful of items mentioned, their riffs on things like MA-1 remind me of what Haraki does in terms of reimagining and paying tributes to classics instead of recreating them.
They’re just kind of a quietly innovative and stylish brand IMO. Nothing that jumps out at you until you experience it in the flesh.
I’ll shut up now but glad they resonate with some of you.

@mclaincausey their 'local shorts' look pretty cool too, but I can't get them here
@seawolf as said, was the only one, got it via Trouva from a little boutique in Italy
