IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo
-
That’s relieving to hear. Will hopefully post real life experience tomorrow
-
Attn people at the party, let's see some images of this thing.
-
How fast do we think these will sell out after they launch on Monday?
-
@Mizmazzle it's exactly what you probably expect. It certainly feels like it's 21oz, but slightly less stiff than I initially expected it to be. Imagine it'll break in and soften up beautifully...
I've already decided I want to commit to wearing this as much as possible this winter. As much as I'll hate neglecting the rest of my wardrobe, I feel like the potential fade potential here is unlike anything else I've ever owned, and I wanna see it turned into a real work of art.
Had zero intention buying this today, just tried it on to sample the fabric... but the moment it was buttoned up there was absolutely no chance I was leaving without it.
-
@Mizmazzle There are definitely a few who have picked this up. Not sure how many; the shop was manic first thing. ️
-
@Mizmazzle very, very warm.
And yeah I'd say so, probably the single most popular items based on the people I've spoken to.
-
@T4920 gosh dang that looks good. Particularly I like how it looks from the back.
-
@Mister_Brue did you grab one??
-
@Mizmazzle I’m trying to stick to my Western/snap guns. I daren’t try one on though.
-
I tried it on today, ended up having a wabash day so I didn’t pick one up (yet)
Definitely agree with what Tom said, it’s definitely a warm shirt but it doesn’t feel super heavy when it’s on. -
Great shirt, incredible fabric.

Interesting. Would you compare it to a UHF in terms of warmth?
-
Tried one on at self edge today. It’s really amazing, and not as heavy as imagined. I practiced great restraint and decided to hold off, or atleast for a bit lol. -
Will they be releasing a western version or CPO possibly? I tend to size up and have more control of the shrinkage if necessary. These day I find myself liking a slightly looser fit. This shirt really nails it with the details and red stitching. Looking forward to see everyone's fades. My sashiko is definitely starting to change, but it had a richer indigo from the start.
