IHSH-399-ORA - 12oz Slubby Heavy Flannel Check Western Shirt - Orange
-
This is my No 1
-
@Choko It seems like there's been some difficulty moving the UHFs over the last few seasons (hence the overdyed editions of the FW22 that made an appearance last year), and I remember @Giles saying that the westerns tend to outsell the work shirts by a good margin. So maybe limiting production so there is less waste?
I could also be completely speaking out of my ass here
-
champ AND mint. Yup.
-
Love this, but do prefer work shirts as well
-
That was the only color i didn't really had has a UHF, had one orange from Ues but a bit too big for me, aiming 3 UHF's to buy for this winter, time to save bucks ^^
-
This is definitely the best UHF of 2024.

For some reason I didn’t catch in presentation that this was the slubby flannel- this is for sure my #1 this season. Such a great pattern and I’ve had FOMO missing the last slubby.
I’m a work shirt guy but I will make the switch for this.

This is what we are expecting here. If you like the pattern enough, you will try and make the measurements work on the western/work despite your preference being the other way. If you can't then it's a shame. Overall it will mean less strain on the factories, and less wait time on the core items we struggle to keep in stock
-
I’m western/workshirt agnostic and usually pick depending on the pattern. I quite like NOT being given the option - the end product is true to Haraki’s vision and ultimately that’s why I’m here. Plus, it makes total sense to streamline the seasonal offerings in this way - it’s not like the buyer has less product to chose from since I doubt anyone would buy a western and work in the same pattern from a release. Instead we’re gently nudged in a single direction.
Well done @Alex and team in making the hard decision, I’m sure it’ll pay off. Out of curiosity, does this mean that the shirts will have larger stock to account for people not having the option of western vs work?
-
I always thought it was ballsy to do both work and western cuts for all UHFs. I think the new way of doing it is a really good idea. I’ll pick tho beauty up 🟠

showed this to my wife. Her response: you might look a little pasty in this...
This is meant to be a bad thing?

This was also a consideration, people looking at two sets of measurements, two colourway options and getting so bogged down with options they buy neither is a phenomenon we have witnessed a lot.

Thank you, and yes to a degree, but the same as if we were doing both cuts
-
I was just telling myself I didn't need another flannel then this one comes along lol. Might have to grab it to keep my gray SHF from last year company
-
I think that only offering each flannel in one cut is a great idea. If there’s a colour or fabric I really like and it’s only available as a work shirt, it will either tempt me out of my comfort zone with the westerns, or save me 300 quid. Either way that’s a win

@DeeDee85 I think
