Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Perhaps it would be worth looking into factory reinforcing the button holes on XHS jeans. The buttonholes seem to fray pretty quickly. My 21oz buttonholes have been holding up twice as long (or more) as my 25oz buttonholes.
I'll talk to H, thanks for the kick up the arse

Funny you should mention this. When I was getting my sales thread together a while back, I was looking at the differences between my original 634S and the 634 Lefties. One of the things I noticed was that the fly in the Lefties is reinforced. Like this:
It appears that there's a thin fabric (muslin, perhaps?) sewn into the fly on on the button hole side. I'm guessing it's meant to reduce button hole fraying, since I can't think of any other reason to add fabric there. It's kinda like lining the back pockets, I guess. Oh, and I checked my 633s; same fabric layer in them, too.

I have an idea:
Devil’s Ultra Heavy Biker Sweats
same basic cut as the 666 jeans, but with a slightly smaller waste (due to the natural stretch of the fabric) button fly, belt loops, rear pockets with stitching and lining, flat seemed, long inseam for cuffing. Colors: black, indigo, navy, grey, oatmeal… -

Couldn’t help but notice, but the boss likes to wear converse all the time and it got me thinking… wouldn’t it be nice if Iron Heart either made sneakers or did a collaboration with someone?
Hears the idea: basic sneaker offered in classic 21oz denim and black duck (Natural cotton and blue duck would also be nice too) lined with the same stuff used to line pockets (or similar) with strong white cotton laces and a good supportive innersole. Obviously the rubber part would also need to be over engineered as well. These could be truly great.
If anyone could make this happen H could. -
The shoes and sweatpants have been mentioned several times over the years. Another frequent request is pajama pants.
I think IH has tried with the shoes, but couldn't find a company where it worked out for everyone.

And there is no way we would consider doing a collab with anyone as large as Converse. We need to see the white of the key guys eyes, we need to sense their passion and have a meeting of minds. I was approached by Filson about doing something together, Haraki & I said no.
I have absolutely nothing against Converse of Filson as companies, but they just don't meet our criteria for working together.
I thought I had found a Japanese company to work with on sneakers, but they were impossible to engage with, I even had Sarina work it for me and she got nowhere.

With an ass flap of course

Garment-indigo-dyed natural jeans. I wonder how those would fade…

Cummon G don't tell me you're not stoked about the Super Iron Dry Heart collab potential. I dunno.
Now that's funny!
