Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Man I didn’t think you would ever do another lined jacket. I don’t need it but i would seriously have a hard time not getting one.

my problem is, how many type 3's do I actually need? I currently want the khaki and choco ihj-69's, the overdyed modified type 3 from Self Edge and the modified whipcord type 3 if it's ever released in khaki (even though Giles said it would be olive).

I know I need a 25 oz jacket.

Apologies for being the guy who pisses on the parade, but I'm pretty sure @Giles has said quite a few times that a 25oz type 3 would be impossible. A lined 25oz would be beyond impossible.
-
@Filthy:
I'm going to continue to insist you guys do a 25 oz 888.
I know nobody here like zipper flys like I do. But I love the zipper on my overalls and logger pants. On my XHS pairs and the new UHR pair I have to undo my belt and buttons just to take a piss. I drink A LOT and I have had several near misses with those Goddamn buttons.
**Also a 25 oz XHS UHF lined modified ** type 3 jacket would be sick. Since Haraki figured out how to make a vest a jacket would be great. Perhaps they would have to not fell the seams under the armpits because it would be way too bulky. Or just line the body with UHF and make the sleeves with the quilt lining.
I’ve read that some places will replace buttons with a zipper… not sure about on 25 oz tho. I hear you on the near misses. Belt and buttons for a piss is difficult.

Yeah but H likes to fuck with G and do things previously thought impossible or never going to happen.
So you never know.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the upcoming 25 oz Type III vest is a good indicator that a 25 oz Type III jacket might happen in the future (when H manages to find a way to attach the sleeves). I'm sure he will 8).

Honestly, I have a 23 oz jacket I got custom made that still hasn't broken in much over the last year or so. I can't imagine what it would be like with lining. That said, I'd probably still buy one.
-
^^ with a lined 25 oz version, you'd probably be able to enjoy your forum name on your arms for a couple of years!
-
I think a lined modified type3 would be pretty cool but now i'm starting to think unlined is preferable since you can just throw a uhf underneath. I'm trying to be practical about this approach since most of us own uhf's and that uhf's are already incredibly warm. would wearing a uhf lined jacket over a uhf flannel be overkill? It would look awesome but is it necessary? I could get away with it since I live in a cold state, but there are quite a few of you that probably wouldn't get to wear such a thing unless you're just wearing a tee underneath.

I realy, really hope for a Remake of the cargo Pants, no matter wether 12 or 23 oz. I'd love to see a slightly smaller leg opening too, let's say 8,5" at waist 36. Please make it happen, I'll buy all colours

I second the "smaller leg opening" sentiment. I love my cargos, but the cuffs are just sooooo wide. Doesn't stop me from wearing, and won't stop me from buying another pair in the future (If the right fabric comes along), but a bit smaller would be better

Great to see some support. now let's hope @Giles gets haraki to do it
