Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

I’m not a default traditionalist and in fact Si quite like it when people cleverly subvert classic designs, but cargoes are so not meant to be worn.
I fixed that for you. Oops… wrong thread [emoji41]

when I look at the IH-718 the hem on a size 33 comes to 8.9. I'm about as average sized as they get but an 8.9 hem on my frame would be huge. An 8" or 8.5" hem would look more appropriate – it's still relaxed but the taper isn't overly aggressive.

I'm a +1 with Reuben.
While I can appreciate differing preferences, I respectfully disagree. But its all a matter of opinion…

This is what i meant. I dont want a heavily tapered pair, but the old models swamped me. Almost 10" leg opening on a 36 is too much and is also prone to damage as the hems rub against each other. I think a bit slimmer cut throughout the whole leg would do the trick.

^^that is a great suggestion! Let's try out a few friction belts.
-
How about some friction belts? Design or find some removable, over-engineered hardware and sell a series of denim straps to go with it (IND, IND wabash, BLK wabash, etc).
I like this idea. Sashiko would be cool too.

I am so in for some tapered cargos. But as most people say they don’t have to be super tapered just something that makes them wearable with sneakers and boots.

Kinda cross-posting this from ‘WAYWT Iron Heart edition’ but can you please remake this shirt?
(It’s IHSH-70 btw)

IH could even make them with a drawstring in the hem like the recent Stevenson Overall Recon fatigue cargos.

What about making some cargos based on the 888 cut?

tiger camo would look cool. how stiff is whipcord? And would that lend itself very well to cargos?
-
I was thinking just a "normal" camo pattern but a tiger camo whipcord fabric would definitely be cool as well. IMO whipcord would work great for cargo pants.

camo would look cool but I suspect the number of people here that would wear them is small. I think olive would be a good start since it's a traditional color with military garb
-
I would go with olive or brown whipcord, 888 cut, cargo’s. Best of all worlds combined
-
Patch design changing the octopus legs to whips, or cat o’ nine tails, or…...Octopussy
-
888 cut in cargos would be good as long as it was the bigger version of the cut. No to Camo though. Pretty hard to wear Camo IMO.
Olive and black would get my vote.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

G, would you consider rerunning the IHM-15 in a darker color whipcord? There seems to be a great deal of interest in that jacket.
Edit: just saw there are a couple sizes left. Baffled. Such a cool piece. If I wouldn't be swimming in the XL, I would grab one.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
