I'm a great fan of Oak Bark leather, I get mine from a local guy in Cardiff, he uses 4mm thick leather from Devon.
They have other leathers too but the thickest is the oak bark, good prices too, www.yarnhide.com -

Heres three of my favorites. All Lined And Raised style:
1. Equus midnight blue bridle with black liner, mouse grey thread, and Damask buckle.
2. Genuine Horween Products one piece shell cordovan with aniline latigo light tan liner, black thread in color #8.
3 Genuine Horween Products one piece shell cordovan with aniline latigo light tan liner, in whiskey with matching thread.

I've been wearing a similar Hollows, but in natural CXL for a little over a year and a half now. It is a great quality, super comfortable piece. I am really happy with mine. The buckle has patina'ed nicely.

I took delivery of 2 very special Equus belts recently.
1. Baranil calf lined and raised in black with slate stitching and Ruthenium Aspley buckle.
2. Austrailian Nut Bridle lined and raised with Ecru stitching and Bogg Oak buckle.

My Tender belts. They are slathered in Tender boot grease especially the brown one.
The black one has a bronze buckle that should patinate to a darker color than the normal brass buckles.
