Hi all, checking in from Northern California (Sacramento area). Decided to quit lurking and jump in. By far the best forum I’ve seen!

Good question, Neph. What I’ve noticed is there is a civility and unpretentiousness that isn’t always present in other forums (that I’ve lurked on). That paired with the product knowledge of the members, and the fact that the people involved in the business end of things are obviously true fans of the product they sell and are actively involved in discussions, makes this a very approachable place to ask questions and talk about the clothes.
On short, seems like a good group off people

Thank you very much. Both for taking the time and for the eloquence. If that is how the forum presents, it makes me very happy indeed.

Well, to be fair, that civility, unpretentiousness, and knowledge is due in large part to the exceptional work you do as a moderator, neph.

Hi, my name is Frank and I‘m living close to Hamburg in Germany. I‘m really looking forward to visit the IH shop.

Newbie here. Have been lurking for a few months and finally decided to join. My first foray into IH was with the IHSH-07, then a pair of 666s. I've picked up a few other things as well. I'm hooked. Coming from Toronto, Canada.

Welcome aboard, good to have you here. Some classic items to start you of there. What’s next on the list?
I just picked up an IHJ-69 cord jacket and a used IHSH-177 on grailed. It's extremely humid in Toronto now, so these will have to be tucked away until the fall

It’s good to be prepared! Both great pieces. The 177 really is a stunner.
I'm glad I was able to pick it up as I've read that denim is out of production now. Unless I missed it, I didn't hear any updates about it from the FW20 discussion yesterday.

You’re correct it is. The crew are currently sampling the shirt in other denims, including the 19oz LHT. If that happens it will be of the chain beautiful as that denim is the nuts.
One thing to be clear about, there are two seasonal collections a year that Harald-san designs around a theme. However there are always new products in the pipeline that are independent of those collections. They either come as one offs, new core products or as bright ideas that some one has and got produced.
So the F/W 2020 is only a little of what you will see released over the next six months.

Checking in from Atlanta. I am pretty new to this group and to raw denim. I have always had a strong appreciation for design and especially quality construction - regardless of what that is in reference to.
In April, I started getting a few things online used to try out. The typical starter items I guess: Gustin, Brave Star, etc. It wasn't long before I took a deep dive down the rabbit hole.
So far the superior items I have picked up include (all lightly used):
IH-634S W34 (too small - still loosing weight - will prob be selling or trading these)
IHSH-21
Sugar Cane SS Blue Chambray work shirt
PBJ XX003S (super slub)
IHSH-194-BLK (Black Military Shacket)Tomorrow's delivery will include:
IH-526Jod Type III
634S-21 - 36 waist this time
Thirteen50 veg tan 1.5" beltNow I need to take a break!
