IH-666D - 17oz Duck Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Brown

Evenin',
Apologies, I am sure the answer is somewhere back over these 81 pages, and I have had a good read… but cant find what I need!I currently have some 555-01 which are a great fit tag 32, but a really 34, now stretched out a touch. I am thinking the 666D would probably work in 34 (real size 33.5), or should I go 35 (real size 34.2).. how much do these stretch with wear? To be honest I intend to wear with a tucked shirt for work, so may be the larger is best?
Also, I will need to hem, I dont think these will look they way I would want double cuffed.... is there much shrink in the inseam with washing?
Best regards,
Chris -

My 666D arrived today, quick turnaround and great hemming from Sam.
The IH crew found a slightly larger cut 34 tag so the waist is closer to 34 than 33.5. The fit is great, a more generous cut than my 555-01 and more suited to the comfortable office wear they are destined for.
I had the leg hemmed to 33, I was cautious as material cannot be put back! I think I could probably have gone to 32 but will see if honeycomb'ing etc draws up any of the length, along with the first wash…. fit shots to follow!

Pleased for you! They are lovely jeans. I also like that «everyone» buys these as smart casual/office wear. They do function well in that respect for a little while… I was also careful with my hemming. Ended up having them taken up again by my local seamstress.
Looking forward to fit pics!

Just uploaded a short review of my freshly delivered IH666D, if you dont want to listen to me yappin' about trousers skip to 8:08 to see them on.
Just finished the second day at the office with these, very comfortable, substantial but not as heavy as i had imagined, nor as hot. I think I could do with a slightly slimmer cut for my skinny legs, but the 666 do make for comfortable all day wear.
I may try an early "hot" wash to see if I can bring about a little shrink, I think I could lose an inch of the inseam as I was cautious. If not I will have to run the gauntlet with a local tailor and see if they are upto the challenge of hemming these.
It will be interesting to see how long these remain smart enough for the office.

I fricken love the video review @DevonReviewer

As an aside, I have been looking through old WAYWT threads from 2012-2014 and I feel I need these.
Anyone with some recent fits? Perhaps with some Foot Patrols on?

you rock @Alex

Hey @Appfaff , thanks! Always enjoy sharing great products on YouTube.
Will post a update once I have put 6 months into them.
Currently wearing most week days for work, and have given them a "hot" bathtub soak (just over 40 celcius), just to protect the fabric from blowouts (at least that is my philosophy)…. no shrink at all, no colour lose....
Incidentally these are showing more potential for fades than I had imagined.
Best regards,

Awesome update Chris, the 17oz Duck does fade beautifully.

Really enjoyed your video review!!! If you do decide to get the jeans re-hemmed,I would think you’d want it to be chainstitched,as it currently is. Sending them back to Iron Heart,or Rivet and Hide would probably get you better results than a local tailor. On another note, I think you’d love the IH 25OZ denim and they’re coming out with one in the 555 cut in the Fall. Looking forward to your 6 month update.

Solid. Yeah, my Roy ducks (obviously MUCH lighter weight) stretch like crazy. I had the 817 and they never seemed to stretch much, but perhaps I simply started too tight in them.
