Introduce Yourself Here

Hi Emil.
At first time when I bought my first IH-666xhs at "Franz und Emil" I thought I have to be crazy. Spent €299 for a jean ???
later, getting used to doing so. 2 Problems because of that:- you can not take all the good things into the grave
- do you really need lots of such expensive stuff
My answer: you only live one times. Enjoy it
Moreover I have 2 sons, maybe they will wear also this stuff because well made things endure time… -
That’s interesting Eisenherz. My wife has old flannel shirts her dad passed down to her and she has fond memories of her father wearing them. I never considered this for my own children until now.

I never considered this for my own children until now….
I have three teenagers in my house who steal my IH tees and try on my jackets (thankfully too big for them still). One of them has already put his name in to inherit my IH wallet. In a couple of years I’m going to have to invest in a lockable wardrobe [emoji1]

I dunno, neph, this could have an upside. "But Hot Ingrid, I need another IH shirt because it's being shared between three people!"

Hey guys.
First post here.
Been lurking for quite some time now, and now I am officially on. Huge Ironheart fan. Latest purchase is my new Deck jacket in khaki. Without a doubt the best looking, best constructed jacket I have ever seen or owned. It´s just plain badass!Well, just wanted to check in and say hi.
Cheers.

Hey everyone,
Got interested in denim about 3 years ago while in college. Eventually became aware of IH but was in no place get anything so I lurked the forums instead. Found a job and moved back to Austin, TX. A lot of cotton farmers here in Texas turn cotton into money, figured I would go against the grain and turn my money into cotton. Currently have about 15 assorted IH pieces and love wearing them here despite the heat. I used this forum extensively when deciding which pieces to priotize, thank you everyone for the fantastic content here.
Here are my favorite (still pretty new) jeans-634S in 14 oz, along with the benefactor of all the miles I've walked to work on those fades.

Hi IH forum dwellers!
Greetings from the cold north (Finland). I have been stalking the forum because needed to get more info on my first to be IH product, the IHSW-23 Hoodie on black, seems like something I have been after for a while. While finding a lot of good info on that particular product I noticed that there's a ton of other interesting stuff in here aswell + friendly atmosphere. So seems like a nice place to gather info about quality stuff.
Not really an avid "collector" of clothes any more -used to be quite heavily into streetwear etc in the beginning of this millenium, but nowadays I just enjoy well designed and crafted things over the hyped out stuff so I think this forum is quite good tool for that.

So glad to have finally found Iron Heart clothing. At 6’7” tall my clothing choices are limited at best. All I want are quality duds that fit. With Iron Heart, I’ve been able to find numerous pieces that not only fit, but fit really, really, flatteringly well! This, along with the excellent customer service, the forum, and the companies ethics, combine to create a brand that I’m proud to be associated with. Not to mention how great these jeans look!
Anyways… I’m still kind of new to the forum. I’m from the mighty Midwest, Iowa, USA, after a ten year stint in Humboldt Co. CA. I’m a musician and a 2nd Shift Lead at an employee owned manufacturing facility. I have 3 cats and a little dog and a wonderful wife who supports my denim habits. Here’s a pic of me and my pup on a snowy day wearing my indigo m65 field jacket and a pair of PIHXHS. Hickory stripe shirt unseen under jacket[emoji41]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome @Smiladon

Welcome buddy… thank you for the great intro. I like the sound of an employee owned manufacturing facility. What do you guys make?
The company is called Metalcraft. Our bread and butter these days is in making RFID tags for various uses, like inventory tracking, and temperature and moisture sensors. We make a lot of clothing tags too, like the ones that will set off an alarm if you try and steal clothing without paying first. It’s fairly interesting stuff. Here’s a pic of me running my machine. I think I’m making car wash tags here[emoji2371]

I'm amazed that at 6'7" you still have cuffs on those jeans
Great shot, great outfit! Welcome!
Thanks! That’s a big reason why I love Iron Heart! They fit large enough for me to cuff. I need at least a 36” inseam and most of their cuts have a couple pairs that reach or exceed that measurement. I love the look of PBJ fabric and I’ve been fortunate to find one pair that started off at a little over 37” before soaking but not many other Japanese brands offer the inseams that I need. I’ve also found many shirts and jackets from iron heart that fit my tall frame perfectly
