IH-555S-21 - 21oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Jeans - Indigo PREVIOUSLY IH-555-01

Next couple of weeks. And they will have a new Lot Number, as we try and rationalise Lot Numbers…..
IH-555S-21
@Giles thanks for the heads up!
I'm finding the break in of the IH 21oz denims are so much easier and comfortable compared to some other brands in the 14-16oz range. I'm at a point in my life where I've lost patience in breaking in denim…that's just me.

I was wondering if someone could give advice on cuffing these? I’m a 29 inch inside leg and generally haven’t cuffed most of the jeans I have. I’m planning on getting a double cuff of approximately 2 inches. Is it best to to go for a 32 or 33 inch inside leg?
-
Thanks, I’ll probably try a regular double cuff so maybe 33 inches is the way to go.

Have a good New Year

Ah. Thinking of getting a pair of these. I have a pair of 555 -03 tag size 33, which fit really well both pre and post initial soak (but I’ve yet to wash them…), so wondering if I should get the 33 or the 34 in these, given there’s no shrinkage expected. I’ve a pair of 777 -14 tag 33, but I’m losing patience with them because even a year in, and two washes, the top block is too tight. Just put them on after the second wash and grrrrrrr...... LOL. I guess it’s the top block with me. Maybe I should wait for the 666S 21? Any advice welcome. Thanks.

I brought a pair size up and the waist stretch, become a problem.
Thinking now what…
Worm them non stop for a fews months.Wash them and tumble dry them, first time I have use a tumble dryer on jeans.
Now they perfect
Mega comfortableThey look perfect. I dig how that patch has darkened- it looks awesome. I wish mine looked like that…water kind of warped it...not a lot, but enough to notice.

I have patches that look all kinds of ways. Some darken, some stay in shape, some warp, some split. The one on my IH-666D is frazzled.
Sometimes I oil them before soaks and washes, sometime I forget or don’t bother. Personally, I love them all. Should do a photo montage of them one day [emoji1]
My point is, whatever happens to them it is all wabi-sabi.

All I did was worn them for bit the blue dye of the jeans was all over the patch.
Use Woolite Dark, fill the cap went in washer with the jeans.
After straight in the tumble dryer..
Was thinking of oiling the patch just been bit lazy..
They have tightened up more, what I wanted..
The denim just gets better and better.
But very stubborn to fade quickly

Wise words my dude. My favorite patch evo of mine so far is from my 555XHSib. It has kept its shape and has a rich honey hue.
Either way though…as you stated, wabi-sabi.

Great jeans with the new Lot number Double cuffed these with a 2 inch cuff.
-
Just got my pair…slides on like butter!
Will a pair of Mister Lous fit under these jeans?
-
Hmm owning a pair of engineers (albeit not Mr. Lous) and some 555-01s, I'd guess no. Somebody might prove me wrong though!
Amazing jeans nonetheless, dear to my heart due to being my first pair of IH.
