Circling back to the mezcal cocktails. My go to,especially when I'm having BBQ,is an Anejo tequila on the rocks,squeeze some lime and some orange,float some mezcal on the top. I've tried this with blancos and reposados and I like how the barrel aged tequila mixes with the smoke of the mezcal.

@Jett129 They're really good! Years back, me and my wife found ourselves in a fancy Mexican restaurant bar, and the bartender offered us a snack. It was a bowl of seasoned crickets just like these, but house-made. They were so good, and my wife tracked down some that are commercially available. Don't knock it until you try it! Also, crickets may be the protein of the future.

@seawolf I don't know if your familiar with an old Southern California used car dealer by the name of Cal Worthington? But you jogged my memory of one of his commercials where he says "If I can't sell you a used car or truck...I'll eat a bug" There;s lots of clips on YouTube,but I couldn't find the one where he says that.
