Since I mentioned it, here are the other two

Well I admit my goof. After day 2, these are more owchie than I thinks is acceptable, and I’m pretty sure the pointed toe requires the 1/2 size extra. We’ll see when they show up.

Outdoor National Trust play thingy. Risky business in the North.

@WhiskeySandwich yes, the Work Chukkas need at least 0.5 size up from your regular size. I tried them on and no way these would have worked comfy. I wear 9.5 in IR, 10 in mocs and just ordered some Work Chukkas in 10.5
-
@FlavourFade Thats about in line with what others reported during my research. I find the mocs to be the most roomy of all though, and i swear I could probably get away with an 8.5 lol. But my Blacksmiths, mocs and 1907 are all a 9. I'm a 10 in Vans and on a Brannock. the 9.5 on the work chukkas is perfect though. Sold the other pair to a work buddy.
-
@WhiskeySandwich funny how different feet are. I have no idea what my brannock size is (german dude) but wear an 11us in most of my sneakers, but could get away with a 10.5. My Iron Rangers are the hawthorne muleskinner ones, so maybe with other leathers I would have to get a 10 but the roughout is soft enough to not generate discomfort. Mocs are a little too narrow for me so I need to size up to 10 at least. But I'm really thrilled to the chukkas
-
Was eyeing these for a couple years, after I saw a review of a really beaten pair on YouTube. Now finally got them and love how lightweight and easy to wear the 3141 Work Chukkas are. Compared to other Red Wings I had the break in is not existing, compared to my John Lofgrens they def need to soften up.
-
@ Flavourfade love those, i just got a pair of them in CRT leather. They feel great but they've been giving me a hot spot on my right heel only. Took a day off of them today. From my experience with the Briar, its a bit more forgiving in my Moc.
anybody peep the new Olive Mohave Mocs? Digging these a lot....

Nova Rock 2024… the boots have about 18 months of daily use in them.

@FlavourFade @Denimhead-0 moved my response from the motorcycle thread here. I ended up going with a lightly used find, also on last 8, rather than the 2060. A 2012 round toe, in the copper roughout. The previous owner barely wore them and had insoles in, so didn’t mold the cork/leather. They’re less broke in than my latest pair of work chukkas. Freshened them up with a thorough wash and condition. I’m already thinking these might be my favorite pair. It’s just a shame they’re extinct.
-
Wearing my 9060 for work today and did not remember them being that comfy. They are great to walk in and look awesome.
-
@FlavourFade The 9060 is indeed surprisingly comfortable even with a non boot sock. Wear mine a lot at work too.
Cheers -
Then show us some pictures, love to see some wear and tear on the 9060 @PJ

@FlavourFade

@WhiskeySandwich I have been eyeing a pair of these. I run a 9 in my Mocs, you think 9.5 on these would be dialed based on your experience?
-
@derek111 I’m not sure if I’m normal, but I’m a 9 in all RW except the work chukka. The round toe is on the #8 last and is the best fit for my foot. These fit exactly like my Blacksmiths. The Mocs in the same size are roomier on my feet, volume-wise, that goes for the 1907 too, on the #45, which I wear without the insole. My brannock is 10, and I wear a US10 in Vans. I sure wish the still made the round toe tho, def my favorite model. I might try and find another pair in another leather.
