Well fuckin played my man. This is my favorite cafe racer of all time, please post copious pics!

you better believe it!!! I've been eye fucking that jacket since I first saw em…. My viberg engineers sold on the eBay just a while ago so I'm still sitting comfortable on a bit of fun money and not entirely on empty ... I'm really glad it worked out during the sale. Been sweating getting the extra loot together since I heard about that damn 12% off

Stunning coat and fit brotha. Congrats! Definitely post some detail pics when you can.

Thanks fellas. Going to take some breaking in for sure. Very stiff yet supple at the same time really love the shinki leather
-
I bet it smells amazing too right? Shinki is so great.

Yeah… I'd really like to wear it all day but its 90+ degrees out.. 23...25 oz denim is bearable but I'm not tough enough to pull off a leather jacket in the heat.

All good and appreciated. They actually touch exactly to the wrist thumb joint when I'm standing normally it hiked up a bit in this picture. The sleeve was my biggest concern but That is exactly were I have all my sleeves sized to or look for them to fit). So I feel pretty good about it. When I get the opportunity ill grab do some pics that give a truer placement if the sleeve and then post with a picture I've got of David himel in his. My sleeves are actually quite about longer than where he wears his at.

They'll for sure settle too as that tough ass horse slowly yields.

definitely looks like a good fit to me…you must be smiling from ear to ear buddy congrats!
btw. was this designed for riding?
the zipper could tell that, since it's not really sewn to the bottom of the jacket...
(btw. that would be the only thing, really the only one, i could see myself having 2nd thoughts about this jacket!)...it's a thing of beauty though!
great move -
It is a cafe racer so designed to ride ergo the zipper stopping short. It's a pretty convenient feature when sitting down with it zipped as it doesn't bunch up but would agree they the same thing could be achieved through a double zipper. I know the general design of the Kensington is based on the J100 buco but it is a bit modernized as it has extra length in the body<~~ one of the selling points for me over the RMC j100 repro was the longer body and sleeves. The only real issue I have is the lack if gussets beneath the wrist zipper areas which I contacted David about before purchasing. He alluded that this was something that could be altered if I was dead set on it but its not a terribly huge deal to me.
Either way in regards to the zipper placement… beyond the break in period I don't see me zipping up to often except if weather absolutely demands it as I generally wear my jackets open
