Iron Heart IH-634S - World Tour 2010 - 2013

We have a night club in Gosport. It has the stickiest carpets I have ever seen. I am sure it is designed so that when one of the uglier (and thus at 2am and shagless and desperate) Gosport Babes makes a beeline for you, you are unable to escape…..
like flypaper…

Generally work from home today, but got a wake up call, and was called into the office for some serious meetings.
This is how I get to work. Have been commuting via bike for around 5 years now, love it. A few accidents, been hit by 1 car, dodged many more, still A+.
Almost @ the office on the way in, this is how Mexican is being taken on board in Sydney, as expensive/hip pub food mostly, sniffs

^The pub in the above photo is where Mary Donaldson (aussie lass) met Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark during the 2000 Summer Olympics on 16 September in Sydney. She's now Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

Been a really flat out week, well 2 really. Ended up working from home today to complete a piece of code I've not even managed to start for nearly 2 weeks in the office. A great way to end the week. Also got a bit of a sleep in, more coffee, loud music, and kittens of course. All the important things, including WT jeans all day, of course.

Shades of blue today
Near where I live. I have a feeling the guy who wrote this is a few beers short of a 6 pack for at least 2 reasons.
On the way out to dinner, back around surry
FINALLY good Burrito! Taco Mafia was open, and delighted we were.Am still figuring out the weekend, come what.

Cats are more adorable with each pic, and that "shades of blue" pic is pure denim porn….one of these days I'll have to get a wabash shirt, alas! Am I making this up or has the crotch damage on the WTs gotten enlarged?

Today I headed town to Enmore/Newtown. These suburbs are known for being left-leaning, green-focused, tinges of anarchy politically active communities. I spent a lot of time around the place in my youth, and in my early 20's had my second resurgence for the area. Over the past 15 or so years the main strip become pretty alternative-commercial, but if you head back 2-3 streets some of the diversity comes back.
In my mid/late 20's I started come around these back streets when I was getting active with street-art/stenciling. I managed to get published in a few magazines over the years, the top right piece is mine
So I went back down around the area today to see how it's changed…
By a guy called Junky, for obvious reasons. This was done around the time I was 'active', so is quite old now.
Will Cole, guy is quite aggressive about concreting objects into places.
Also Will Cole
Looks like a NYC MTA train to me
Tools of the trade
Scotty probably has info on this one
Sydney modern architecture. Not very pleasing in my eye, and not a very good mix of old and new, which is what it's trying to represent (an old flour mill)REALLY nice and warm out today (~24c), was tempted to get my summer clothing out of storage. Happy days. Now back to chilling, cleaning, and preparing.

Pretty funky stuff….our WT host a published stencil/street-artist, and the distressed WT jeans looking ever more appropriate in the context. Pics make me want to visit....

Slowly starting to study for my next exam in a month or two's time. I like getting out of the house to study when I can. Nice parks, fresh air, green, no internet - a place to focus.
So that's where I spent the middle of my day, at a park.
It's also a great place to watch planes takeoff/land. No telephoto lens on, you get the idea. Qantas plane, national airline.
A close up in the lake. Yup, that's a bloody big eel!shaky-cam brings you moving pictures of an Australian Native - Wattle
