Apologies for bad pics, much better will come in the next few days.

I spent a long time looking for my ideal leather jacket, but I always managed to find something in every design that I didn't really like, or that something was wrong or missing. So I did what any sensible person would do and spoke to Giles about getting something made which ticked all my boxes and left unticked many of the things which I regarded as "over design".

My requirements we actually quite simple, it had to be plain, as black as possible, and make me feel like Batman….I am happy to report that this jacket makes me feel like Batman. That's the highest compliment I have ever paid a jacket.

Custom cafe racer (I call it Mega Armour)
Black Chromexcel
IH Brass Zipper
Brass pocket and cuff zippers
No chest pocket
Hand warmer pockets moved back closer to seam
Body length to extend past zipper

Beauty! black and brass simple and classic

^I keep checking the leather jacket tread frantically specifically for news on the j100. Today finally delivered but left me wanting way more…Seriously can't wait to see the detailed shots and the fit on Model (G).

What I can tell you.

Scarlet Ventile lining
No gussets in cuff zippers
My special goatskin
All "silver" hardware
Riri zippers
2" longer than previous samples and added on below zipper - so zipper ends about 3" below bottom of jacket

Next one to be made next week will be olive Ventile lined Horween natural Essex…

Amazing stuff
The black G goat to my eyes seems like a DREAM match for this type of jackets - supple yet thick and super grainy but I'm intrigued by the Essex particularly in natural finish…
I find it a bit hard to imagine the final product in it.. Really looking forward to seeing both now
