John Lofgren (Speedway)

Hey fellas,
Following up on my ELMC inquiry, I just got three t-shirts I ordered from them in the mail!

Mini review:
So, I guess all these t-shirts are made for ELMC by John Lofgren, I'm assuming in the same factories that make his other t-shirts/clothing articles, but that is pure conjecture. The blue shirt seems to fit pretty well, I am 5' 10" at about 10% bodyfat and 168 pounds and I went with a size 40 on all of these. I think that the measurements in the chest, shoulders, and sleeve length are all spot on for what I like and what I was expecting, although the shirts are a bit long for my taste. You can't see it in the picture, but it bunches up a lot at the bottom if I let it sit naturally and if I try to kind of even it out, it's pretty long in the body (at least to someone who prefers a more form fitting silhouette!). I think with a hot wash and a trip through the dryer though, that these tee's will all be in the perfect place fit-wise.
As far as materials go, I am a bit taken aback. The henley and ringer tees are made of a really soft medium/heavy weight cotton that is pretty similar to John's striped-t's and I thought that they felt really nice to the touch and justified the higher price paid for them. However, with the navy blue pocket tee, the cotton is fairly coarse and a bit thinner than the other two. I wouldn't call it itchy, but it's certainly one of the rougher tees that I own and is just not as comfortable as the others.
All in all, I would say that this was an 8.5 experience with John Lofgren for ELMC. ELMC's customer service was very helpful when I had a question about SagePay, and I think the product I got from them met expectations. I'm a little disappointed that it took 12 days to get to me, but that's just from me being an anxious wanker. I'm also thrown for a little bit of a loop with the blue pocket-tee but that may just be because I'm particular about my clothes! I'm sure no one short of the IH forums would have any issues and I definitely would recommend shopping with ELMC. Hope this helps anyone interested in purchasing from them!

I'm particular about my clothes!
Sounds like you need some flat head stuff
I really like the ringer. You wholeheartedly recommend that one? And is it as long as the blue one? I had to sell my foggy dye tee because it was too long so maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up…

Hey Ben,
Got a coupleplain THC shirts in black and white, they're absolutely great! I don't think these shirts are coming in at that level of durability or nearly as tightly woven, but they're still nice. That ringer, in size 40, measures 27" from the collar to the hemline. I know you wear a 40 in the FH tees, so this may not be up your alley-lengthwise. No idea what the dimensions of other sizes are because they don't put them on the website… Don't know if I can give em my wholehearted backing just because I know you like your tees shorter in the body [emoji4]. I'd say the FH tees are still a cut above

Had to get these after seeing @davito and @Sugar Mountain 's pics. Also have been wanting some blue/gum sneakers after seeing @summ3rhays post his Spalwarts each time.

Nice @goodrain. Those look sweet!

Though I'm confused by his calling it a "heavy full-grain suede" (perhaps he means roughout), the latest JL engineers look good:
-
@Broark I need to ask the obligatory sizing question: how did you size compared to your Converse 70's?
-
@FurattoHeddo 70's I wear an 11.5, I took an 11 in these.
Haven't gotten to wear the Dessau much yet but they feel similar size-wise, maybe a little more room in the toe?
Which would be a good thing, since the 70's have always felt a teeny bit narrow. -
These get better every time I wear them (which is quite often). I really need to pick up a white pair.

I think the camos look good with both khakis and denim.
