Not a fan of engineers either, but they look great.
-
Not a huge engineer boot fan but those are nice - congrats!
How much those set ya back if you don't mind me being nosey?
$500 + $25 Shipping, they were Dead Stock that Morgan found for me. He's awesome!
Congrats Jepanic, nice. Are those 8", or taller? Looks similar to Viberg Short Shift.
Yes, they are 8". Indeed they do look like Short Shifts. I have an MTO of Short Shifts in Black CXL hopefully on my feet in 8 weeks.
I wasn't a fan either until I kept seeing them pop up here and other websites I was looking at. I wanted boots that I could just slip into and not have to lace up all the time.

^wow what a great deal…though I don't really like the 310 last for an engineer boot! great collab
really interesting...Rafa…Stay with those for a while just to decide if you're an engineer man (pun intended )
After you have settled with those say 4 weeks 24/7 use and you still like engineer boots, we'll discuss about next purchase, right?
I eyeballed Lone wolfs loooong but decided otherwise. Just a personal preference dictated by the way I use mine...
was just kidding o/course buddy . need to get other things first before going with another pair of engineer boots and besides that these should last long enough to not feel the urge to purchase again gonna start wearing them from tomorrow on so let's fee
Rafa - you're going to have start doing mid-day boot changes to keep up with all those great boots you have
i only have six pairs so it's all still pretty easy going buddy

Dyed a belt and matched the studs to the buckles of my Lofgren's
What is that style of belt??? I really love that style. I have no idea where to find them, and no amount of google searching has turned up shit!
-
^ Some of the more common names are "biker belts," "Indian belts," "vintage western belts," "sovenir belts." I personally made this belt and have tons of other designs inspired by the original 1930's - 1950's belts of the time that I create.

It's like an engineer festival around here, about time too! @vintage_engineer_boots:

Yeah man I really like the skulls you made out of spots on one of your belts, awesome.
-
^Thanks! I'm actually tempted to make one of those for myself.
*Noticed I spelled "souvenir" wrong earlier.
Getting back to boots (kind of) … sent a pair to THE Cobler himself today

^Hehe! You've got the fever!!!
Here's my first every pair of Engineer Boots purchased in 1991 in a small shop in San Jose, California. They're were made by Double H and cost about $90. I wore these like it was no ones business (that's all natural patina). Notice the western style heels. They didn't start off that way - I wore the heels down so far before the initial re-heel that the cobler had no choice but to reshape them. I had the heels replaced at least six or seven times over the span of four years. I believe my parents still have these boots somewhere in their home.

Nice–is that an A-2 as well?

Love it. Engineers and A-2s. That's as good as it gets.
