Got my wife a loaded unicorn Touareg TDI Highline with only 13500 KM and I got it wrapped with XPEL (much needed when driving mountain passes in British Columbia).
Glad we got this over the Merc GLE.

If you’ve never been to Vancouver it is a hyper-car Mecca.
The Superfast is just back from Gumball…

Needs to be boxier and even uglier IMO.

I agree completely. This is way too soft and round. Look at what Mercedes did with the G-Wagen. They maintained the design and character of the previous generation and did a fantastic job at that. Chris Harris even likes it:

The Germans are masters of incremental changes that honor timeless designs while still changing over time. I think English marques used to do this quite well but have fallen behind in that regard.

This just arrived today:
I've been wanting an old school yet modern work truck and I found this 2017 F250 at a dealer in North Texas. It's got a lot of miles (178k ???) on it but for what I'm using it for, it shouldn't be an issue. Got it for a pretty much sweetheart price but it's undoubtedly a bare bones truck. No power windows, no power door locks, manual everything and vinyl seats but it'll serve it's purpose. I'll be installing a gooseneck hitch this weekend.

YUM. always been a fan of proper american trucks. (none of than ranger/hilux/triton bullshit) this would've cost 100-150k in australia. i'm curious as to how much you got it for?

I like trucks too, except the high cost of gas and maintenance [emoji848]

That's what's interesting about the Toyota Tacoma. Not a work truck on the order of the F-250, and Toyota don't even have an answer for the F-150 (the Tundra is not on par), but the maintenance costs aren't much more than a Camry.
