Our Cars (dream or actual)

@Travis nice wheels! I had an old Triumph for my first car. A 1973 TR6 to be exact. To be be honest when I read the MG’s in your post I was expecting to see a picture of an MG MGB because that’s basically all we see here in Canada. They looked very similar to the Triumphs. But I guess you live in the UK so get a much bigger variety. I was surprised to be riding in a new MG in Ireland last month. An electric one no less.

@Tago-Mago thanks so much homie!!!
-
@deanclean Ooooohhhh nice, love the sound of the old triumph's, there was some at a car meet the other day. Really can't beat the old classic shapes
I've seen a few of those new EV models driving about, they have so much torque it's insane!!! ️
(And they sound like space-ships!) -

@mclaincausey this is funny because there’s an80s Subaru hatchback parked on my street in 80s tan that I’m ogling probably the same way you look at those.
-
@mclaincausey Did you see the 'first look' interview with Newey? i should have posted the video here instead of in Motor Sport.
@Oaktavia congrats brotherman!!!! on both the car and the prenatal vitamins!!!
-
@Matt I drive a 2012 Outback. Can’t say there’s a Subaru, WRX included, that excites me though. But in all seriousness an overlanding / apocalypse vehicle would be more interesting to me than these amazing cars.
@WhiskeySandwich makes much sense in Motor Sport since it’s a track only car. I’ve not only watched that but Gordon’s equivalent on the T.50:
Both fascinating. I would take the T.50 though just because it’s a road car.
-
@mclaincausey oh wow, I'd heard of it but hadn't given it a look yet. I'm not a huge VW Beetle fan, but damn that one looks amazing. lol I love how compact it is. It looks like a proper car and not some science experiment. It looks like a worthy McLaren F1 update.

OUR BOATS (DREAM).....

Yeah getting into Murray’s head was really interesting in the video. Things like refusing to put stalks on the steering column and instead placing turn signal controls on the wheel, eschewing screens, why he wanted a naturally aspirated V12, etc. he really was trying to make the ultimate analog sports car.
-
@mclaincausey I love that select designers are trying to steer back toward the raw analog experience. I wonder if it's all just clinging to the old as a last hurrah before we're overrun completely by EV people-movers, or if they'll be able to bring at least the performance segment back to things like this.
-
It’s a last hurrah IMO. I feel like the T.50 is Murray’s magnum opus for a perfected street analog driving experience. The video is really telling about his philosophy. An amazing fellow.

Awesome! Great stuff all around!
Before getting into the whole denim thing I was heavy into classic cars, buying, selling, restoring.
Still have a couple that are keepers… as of now, lol.
My all time dream car-1962 Chevy Impala Convertible.
1972 Chevy K5 Blazer 4wd
1972 Chevy K10 SWB Cheyenne 4wd
1979 Chevy C10 SWB Silverado
1970 Chevy K5 Blazer 2wd -
Haha! Thanks, fellas.
Hey, I’ve come around on the Ford Motor Co. as of late.
I’m looking at getting into a ‘36 3-window coupe in the near future… fitted with a Chevy power plant, of course, lol! Kidding.
