@mclaincausey @Aetas wore it to work today. Received several compliments. So many cool details on this shirt. Red bar tacks. White snaps. Lack of a side gusset. Perfect weight. Dig it.

@Oaktavia said in Random questions to which you seek an answer:
Does the hairline duck evolve and fade such as "regular" duck fabric?
@Oaktavia , this fabric evolves, fades and is getting softer with time. But I find it hard to capture…
My son who should wear L, modelling this XL shirt.

They're all a little different @Oaktavia
The hairline is the lightest/thinnest of the bunch. It's hand feel isn't as smooth as the Wabash but it's much smoother than the duck. To me the duck breathes the best of them and the 92 the worst as it feels the most tightly woven of the fabrics. My 92 has gotten pretty soft feeling but even still has a bit of crispness left in it where you can hear/feel the fabric moving around. I really need to wear it more. Not sure if these photos help you at all.

Does hairline duck remind anyone of a "brown duck Wabash" or is it comparatively/fundamentally different?
Fundamentally different. A Wabash has the spots painted or bleached onto the fabric, this fabric has the dots woven into it.

This is what I was wondering without knowing how to word it. Thanks G.

@pechelman thanks for the photos that helps a lot!!

Seriously time to bring back the indigo version of this (and maybe do an olive version)!

@Giles this is also I think plain woven where wabash is usually a twill right? At least in IH history.
