Silk covered book from Japan. Granddad gave this to me. It was written for western tourists in the mid-1930s and details a number of different aspects of Japanese culture. It is bound by the teeth of some sea animal, can't recall what. The pages are vellum-like and folded over rather than single sheets.
Another one from granddad, this by Nissan as a goodwill gift for a town in the US where they were building a factory.
I'm having difficulty trying to find my favorite, a volume of woodblock prints. Will post when I find it.

Maharishi book on camo by hardy blechman! Was bloody hard to get hold of and its a lovely book (although very fucking geeky)

Sailor jerry Collins American tattoo master by Ed hardy. An excellent book on the man who introduced eastern aesthetics into western tattooing!!!! Would highly recommend watching the documentary Hori Smoku on sailor jerry too
