I went to the Tenderloin shop in tokyo and it was pretty impressive i must say.

A Japanese friend of mine just sent me a nice gift…a pair of Tenderloin jeans and a couple of their shirts.
I'll try to get some pics up myself.
The group of Japanese friends I have in the Tokyo area are all very into Tenderloin and Corefighter stuff. They both put a slightly modern street wear twist on repro stuff...Here is a link to his store...
Check out the Staff Style section…some very hip dudes.

thats a hell of a gift! very cool site.

These are the Tenderloin jeans my friend sent me as a gift.
Not sure of the model, but sort of like a 1917 501.
No line selvedge, cinch back, gold selvedge coin pocket detail (but no suspender buttons) and super roomy with highish rise.
Fairly stiff and rough textured denim. And the leather patch has the size stamped into it, not printed. A detail I love and wish more patches had…
Wear these now and again when I'm feeling a little more "old fashioned".

looking good Katsushin, new look for the new year.
when u coming up to NY so u can do a piece for me :-\ :-\ :-\

nice^^^^
can u give some picks of the inside of the wallet & clip? want to see how they look after heavy wear
-
Been meaning to do that for a while now.
Sometime this week for sure, too late and shitty lighting right now. (Isn't it like 2 in the morning where you're at?????)
I do love them though. Not to sound too gross or anything, but sometimes I just sit there and smell the wallet. Damn that leather is something else… -
lookin good! i have to get mine chainstitched so i can put them back in the rotation.

riff, those jeans are gnarly! so is the bad brains shirt!
-
Kat, what shirt / jacket are you wearing in this?
It's from Al's Attire in SF.
I think he made all the shirts for Self Edge as well. I really dig it a lot.
It's a deadstock herringbone fabric and I think he called it a foundry coat.
I think Giles used to sell a hickory stripe version… -
