Levi's

Hi, I once had a 201. It was size 33 and had been washed before I got it. But according to the previous owner (almostnice of DB /sufu) they didn't shrink much even in a hot wash. Due to the wide fit I could fit in the 33 while my normal size is 34. The inseam was about 35-36" which seems to prove that they didn't shrink much.
If they are still the same cut and denim, I'd got true to size or maybe even size down. Not sure if that's still valid though….

They should finally add measurements. But their service is pretty good, so you could surely easily exchange. I never had issues with that.

I bought a pair of 201s in 2005. I pretty much wear a size 32 in everything but stupidly bought these in a size 34, believing the nonsense on the label, i.e. shrink from tagged size. They barely shrank in the waist and inseam, even after a 90C wash and tumble dry. I never wore them and eventually gave them away to my brother-in-law. My advice would be to buy them in your usual size; if ever I bought them again, I'd get a size 32.

@Finkster there's a reason I'm always talking about love and am so friendly.

Man, I wish I was there in that picture. All those women are so happy and beautiful.

Didn't feel like opening a Levi thread…so I'll drop this here haha.
Recently bought some super cheap shorts cuz I don't really own any and for the hell of it went through some of Levi's collections. Found this pair of jeans that actually intrigued me. 1969 606 14 oz cone Mills overdyed jeans. Can't find actual measurements but guessing they would be too slim for me, but still nice IMO.

Just bought Levis denim Trucker jacket with buffalo leather sleeves.

It'd be fun. But I'd likely lose my job soon after. I just got a random hair follicle drug test yesterday. And a urinalysis… and a breathalyzer.

Whoa! I get tested if there's over $10,000 in damage-so yeah, hitting anything. 3 tests seems OCD

Yeah they are pretty crazy.

LVC Safari Jacket, based on a seventies pattern. It looks like the lovechild of a Type III and a Norfolk jacket, and could be a cousin of the Zig Zag leather jacket I took a shine to a few months back.
More details at Heddels, and it's available from Levi's or Canoe Club. (The latter is $100 cheaper!)

I saw one of the LVC Safari Jackets at Pickings and Parry today. Chris (the owner) got it in for Jack, one of the barbers who works there.
I did like it, though the finish isn't as nice as an Iron Heart jacket. (Then again, what is?) The chest pockets aren't functional, and the flaps are riveted shut.
