Viberg

Yeah–I have the same anxiety Aries, I was sized at E... Vibergs seem wide already, even at D.
This is exactly what morgan suggested to me as well. Numerous times i messaged him second guessing this because of my narrow feet I am a D at the most and can normally wear a C if available but he insisted that E was practically a D and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference….He, was wrong. m(nothing against Morgan, it was my decision in fact my decision in the end, i just decided to go with his suggestion) I honestly wish I would have went with Giles original sizing advice on my first pair of Vibergs and think I would have been dead on.

Yep…. I believe history is repeating itself. I suspect G tried to save me too. I told him my size and he was like "ok 8.5D, check." And I said back that Morgan had said E...

I wear 9.5D (digitally measured) in Red Wing. In Magli and Ferragamo I am a reliable 8.5. In US sneakers I am a reliable 9.5D. In Japanese shoes I am a 27cm / size 9. My Lofgren boots are US9.5D, my Road Champs are US10D, but heavily modified, so that doesn't count. All of these fit me perfectly. I don't have Brannock measurements unfortunately or even a ruler here to measure my foot length or width at the ball. I do have high arches. I don't have wide feet. They're not skis by any means, but I think they should be D for the most part.

I think it also has to do with how people like their shoes to fit. I have always worn 7.5 in Alden (truebalance and barrie) but then I was told that I should wear a 7, but I prefer the way 7.5 feels (in boots at least). Also, I think engineers are a bit harder to get a perfect fit. That's why I decided to use Wesco's custom fit form, which seems to have worked perfectly for me.

Interesting mclain, I'm a 10.5-11 in similar sneaker and boot sizes.
Yeah superfuzz, that's a large part of what makes boots so tricky; everyone has a different feel for it.
Also has a lot to do with socks and specific parts of your foot (like mclain says, high arches or flat feet, wide feet, narrow feet etc.!).

the man has great taste in footwear. i've never really been a fan of this collab, but Jestre makes them look damn good

Not sure if anyone posted these yet.
I'm not a fan of the blue one's they're releasing but the leather on these is amazing.
3SIXTEEN AND VIBERG’S “DECADE COLLECTION” SERVICE BOOT
"The boot was designed by 3sixteen and produced in collaboration with Canadian bootmakers Viberg. Made of Horween Chromepak leather with brass eyelets, leather laces and a dainite sole, the shoe is durable enough for tough winters."
I've seen this Chromepak once before at a men's show at the Chippewa booth. Natehate was with me.
If I remember correctly, it's all the best qualities of CXL and all the best qualities of traditional hard wearing leathers. Simply amazing. Super thick and super supple.
There were a couple other nice colors as well. I think there was a really cool olive drab color. -
Yeah, those are pretty beautiful.
