Pocketknives/Kitchen Knives/Fixed Blades

Handle, yes; blade: no.
Also, and maybe I should wait til I have the Ti-Lock in my hands, but aren't they entirely different beasts, disregarding the size?..
Yes different animal for deploy and retract. However, blade and handle are basically the same size. Ti-lock is my favorite and I have all the folding models. I'm just saying if I was buying another CRK I would want to mix it up a bit. Sebbie is a working knife the ti-lock is more of a gentlemen's carrier. I would just want a different size. If I only had two.

I as well am contemplating the purchase of a sebenza small…. Never carried a knife but as I've grown older I find myself noticing more and more how handy it would be to have one. Not a day goes by I don't have to use my car keys or something similar in substitute of the knife I don't have.

Sm Sebbie is like the 634S it's the gateway!

Again, like the 634S…

I can't wait! I keep checking my tracking number even though it says Saturday (unless they leave a slip to pick it up from the post office which I absolutely HATE)!
The Ti-Lock looks too damn cool to pass up! Or maybe I'll get a Sebenza with an inlay. Some looks amazing. Especially the ebony wood ones.
-
My Sebenza 21 will be here tomorrow (HOPEFULLY!!!), unless I get a pick up slip of course, which will have to be Monday
I don't want to carry another knife until I get my Sebenza. I refuse to carry a knife, even if it doesn't feel right to go about my day and this weekend without a knife in my pocket! Has this happened to anyone before?
-
My only reliable knife, my dads old Case.
-
Case always made a great product

I got my Sebenza today! I am at a loss for words. This thing is incredible! It is much thinner than I expected, but it is amazing. Love the sound of the lockup and closing! This is definitely the last knife I probably will ever buy
It's already getting stains on the handles from my 301s

I'm still pretty new to the knife game and I've hated on Spydercos from the first time I saw one.
Well, I got a blue tenacious today.
I've been carrying assisted opening knives and I've just been too paranoid lately to keep carrying them. So I decided I needed something a little more NYC friendly. Now I'm already thinking about the smaller Ambitious.
Knives are a hellava drug.

Ok chaps, I need some help deciding what to buy. I'm saving for a CRK, either a Mnandi or small Sebenza, but in the meantime I'm looking to get my first Spyderco, and going by the glowing reviews on here, one of these should make me happy,
Delica
Dragonfly II (FRN or G10)
Tenacious
SageThe Tenacious really appeals because it seems such a bargain, maybe I should just start with that and get one of the others on the list once I've got my CRK?
-
The Tenacious is (a bit) bigger than a small Sebenza though… The Dragonfly is a very small knife... The Delica comes closest, without being as expensive as the Sage...
-
I have a Spyderco Persistence which is of the same "series" as the Tenacious. Even though the build quality, the scales, the clip and the lockup is amazing even if the knife would be double the price the blade is not that good. Mine has gotten kinks all over the edge even though I haven't done any hard stuff with it so I guess the steel is too soft or something. If I could find a knife with a better blade and the equal to all the other factors I would recommend it in a heartbeat. I guess that would be the Delica or the Sage from what I've heard about them (no hands on experience with those).
If the Benchmade Mini Griptilian had better scales I'd recommend that but with custom scales it's a bit precious.
