DPX Gear HEST (made by LionSteel for them) Triple black version
Ill post real pics when i get home. Very nice heavy duty knife. Top of blade is about .2" thick and all in all quality seems great. Not sure if im gonna keep it or not yet. But its pretty awesome. After getting my small sebenza i think im going to sell my 25 tho :(. Always felt it was a lil too large for me to EDC. No sense in it just sitting at my house. Shoot me a PM if interested. Ill make a legit FS thread later

Very nice pillow, I have the green/black/titanium version and I really like it. Hope you enjoy yours!

Very cute
-
Lol. No shit eh? Those xm-18 are pretty steep. They worth the $200+ over a sebenza?
Thx Blackheart. The green version looks pretty sweet as well

Hinderer makes a very nice knife and if you can get one direct being Military-LEO-FIRE-EMT it is well worth the money. If you have to pay dealer/grey market. It is just like anything else. You have to decipher how bad you really want/need it. I have spent more then my fair share on Hinderer. They are extremely hefty and it's nice to have. Is it better more practical than CRK. I don't think so.
-
Thx jeff. Nice looking knives for sure and ive heard they are great quality. See them for sale 2nd hand (lightly carried) for like $600+ usually. How much are they direct?
-
If I remember correctly 3" XM-18 was roughly $350 3.50" XM-18 was roughly $375-400 and XM-24 was $425
-
Oh wow. Thats a big differance then…...if ur memory is holding up these days lol
-
Ask Shane he just got a XM-18 wholesale

3.5in and 3in XM-18 - $385+$7 shipping direct from Hinderer
XM-24 and Eklipse - $425+$7 shippingYou can score them at this price during one of the flash sales on their website or at a knife show lottery.
This site sells them for retail but it's rare.

I was actually referring to the rarity of the titanium scale, though perhaps that's no longer an issue.
-
But most dealers charge 0.5-1.5x the direct price.
Some dealers are less of an asshole than others though.
BladeHQ had a couple Eklipses up this week for $650

I've seen a couple for sale at around $400. They're $200 retail I think.
I feel like the Hinderer team creates the hype by limiting production.
-
No way I'd plunk that much down for a Hinderer. IMO there are better knives out there in that range.
-
Agreed better knives for similar price RJ Martin, Ken Onion, Brian Fellhoalter, Les George, Jeremy Horton, Tom Krein just to name a few
-
I'd say Curtis too, if you want the Spanto blade. Full titanium, really good flipping action, early lockup… Great blades.

thanks to the man @derivative666 for introducing me into CRK and showing me his compilation. I now may have to get a sebenza (21 or 25) for myself
…thanks Jeff, i officially hate you now!

Thanks @mclaincausey for the Ohta Slip-joint (and @derivative666 the original owner)
This is the same actual knife
