The FA Premier League (English Football) Official Thread

I was listening to the north London derby on the radio whilst driving and the pundit (Stan Collymore) was getting more and more animated as the match went on about how the Gunners looked to be playing 5-a-side style football with too much possession without any end product. I realise that they are maybe missing Giroud as a target man but even so, get the pissing ball in the box!!
It sounds as though Özil was pretty anonymous again too…..?
-
Özil I thought was good given the way they were using him. He certainly wasn't offensive as he has been in matches past.
-
Gotta say I loved 'Arry's appraisal of Taarabt's fitness, it'd be nice if a few more 'professional' footballers were given the same treatment. Liverpool were soooo lucky to get the points, Real are gonna maul 'em Bale or no Bale.
-
I also loved it, can't stand Arry though.

Toon Toon, black and white army
Premier league champions are no match for our reserve team ???
-
Are you convinced that Pards "knows what he's doing…."?
-
Not in the least.
-
Ha ha, everyone is a big test for us (apart from Man City and Spuds), this blip of good form will be over soon I am sure Pardwho(?) will figure a way to bugger it up.

if newcastle can win city. i hope in all united will this weekend!!

Early kick off for the Toon today against the Scousers. Growing up everyone in my school supported Liverpool, apart from me, a Spurs fan and about 3 Forest fans (this was before everyone became Man Utd fans). Due to this, I have a long standing dislike of all things Scouse…..hate the Beatles.

well. they won again. what a run for the toon..
-
No one is more surprised than me, from the edge of being sacked to manager of the month for Pardwho(?).
-
Good win for your boys today too @Tone
-
Are you ready @Tone , for the Toon and the Baggies to resume their to the death battle for 10th spot in the league? Oh the excitement
-
And I shall reverse that prediction (though not with much confidence )
-
Well that was unexpected, welcome but unexpected.

looking at this weekend's results and looking at the table. this season looks so much closer than it really is. except chelsea perhaps. i'm still hoping they'll slip up eventually..
