Can't see that on amazon uk, but I did find http://www.wildcolours.co.uk/html/indigo.html. It seems far too complicated, though. I looked at their red dye and that was even more involved.

Nice job- I should try that some day.

I'd like to offer a shout out to Railcar Fine Goods. I have a good problem: I have lost a ton of weight and despite age and gravity, I'm back (mostly). That said, my IHs have been worn to daily perfection–-softer, fades, good things---but are now far too big. I've bought a few new pair because I can't live without 634s. I also just received a pair downsized by Railcar. No diaper butt, proper waist, I really couldn't be happier. They did a great job.
Any before and after photos?

Thanks Alex, sending to IH was originally my plan, then I thought that if there was a reliable place nearby and not too expensive, I might be quicker doing a drop off - pick up thing.

I used this kit https://amzn.to/2MZAlqd and it was great. Really great instructions and just an overall pleasant experience.
That’s an IHSH-26 and it’s a great shirt. I’ve had my OD version for almost 10 years now and besides the fading it looks new. Great dye job, that’s a rare shirt that deserves some wear!

Cheers @sabergirl - The Denim Doctor in Manchester, £19.95. I had my doubts about whether he'd be able to do the repair as the damage was pretty comprehensive but he didn't seem phased. I'm happy with his work plus it's barely noticeable due to its location.

I am bored to tears so fixed that broken stitch so it won't pull through.

Has anyone ever tried to chainstitch a hem by hand? What did the results look like?
Got some Filson Double Tin bibs which come unhemmed, thought that might be interesting to try. With the material being waxed, I’m not sure if someone would be willing to do it commercially. Guess I’m thinking the wax could somehow gunk up someone’s machine… at least I’m not willing to take the risk with my wife’s sewing machine! Though that would be just a plain stitch hem. -

Looks beyond repair in the 1st image he's done an amazing job! Will keep Denim Doctor down as a mental note

I recently acquired an A2 Deck Jacket from brand August Fifteenth, 8.15, and felt right from the off the it was missing something. Doing some research I found the RMC version of the A2 Deck Jacket has an U.S.N. stencil above the breast pocket;
I looked into getting my hands on stencils to add U.S.N. to the jacket myself but either drew blanks or the stencils were not ideal or worse still I had to buy the complete stencil alphabet.
If anyone has a U.S.N. stencil available / for sale please pm me.
Whilst searching the internet I found an embroidery place called Ceeflair only 20 miles from where we live and started a dialogue with them about adding an embroidered U.S.N. above the breast pocket.
The jacket is now with Ceeflair and they've just sent me an embroidery sample of U.S.N. for approval and I've given them the green light to go ahead. The sample;
I realise this method is not standard but needs must am looking forward to receiving the finished product. Will post a picture here when I have the jacket back from Ceeflair.

I collected my August Fifteenth, 8.15, A2 Deck Jacket from Ceeflair Embroidery & printing today after getting U.S.N. embroided above the breast pocket.
A few emails later, posting the jacket to Ceeflair, waiting a few days and collecting it today. Here are the results and I have to say that I am super stoked with the outcome.
