@goosehd he settled down and had a family. I think he needed steadier work. It’s a shame, he is a talented and really interesting guy!

Also please point me to more traditional hat makers. My favorite man in Tennessee has sadly moved on
Have you ever heard of monsivaisco? Strongly urge you to check them out if not.

@flannel-slut will do, thanks for the rec

@Anesthetist Steamboat Hatters in Colorado is amazing. My wife had a custom hat made there for our wedding and it outstanding.
-
@Anesthetist Beautiful cap, but we need to see a fit picture! Wear it in good health.

Almost as good a day as when a green bag is on the porch... A big square box.... Another collection I guess.
-
@CosmoSix5 Love it! I hope I can grab one soon.

Just picked up a MF Denim Ship Cap. I quite like it.

@derek111 if you are looking for an authentic Jeep Cap then I would try a site called World War 2 Impressions. They make amazing stuff and have been used in movies for uniforms etc. I have 2 of the jeep caps and they are fantastic. Here is a link.

Maybe the moustache will help.
Hat and stache combo looks good on you
Not sure if the reference will translate outside the US but Roy Underhill would agree

Hovering on the buy button on one of these weird keepsake hats from William Ellery. I think you are supposed to use the mesh panel to stick feathers and flowers or whatever you come across on your journey. Kind of cool, mostly ridiculous.
