@Mizmazzle and yeah the fit is nice! This is a medium and it fits very well. For being so insulated it really does stay super trim fitting.

@SaddleSC I’m stoked to have another forum member rocking this jacket. It’s always cool to get pumped on another members fade progress. Case in point the Lefty Trucker thread. Mad heads raging that one! Got mine on as I type this chillin on the couch. Not really possible in the RJ2 haha

Thanks! It is always fun to share new pieces with other IH brothers! How long have you had the Lefty Trucker? Is yours OD or non-OD?
I recently bought the OD version fo the Lefty and it is surprisingly a very wearable beast of a jacket...I am loving it so far! I am also trying to break in a IHSH-293 18oz OD CPO shirt...so every night my hands are stained blue and I am loving it.
I also grabbed one of the new IH A2 Deck Jackets so I look forward to comparing it to the both the RJ2 and the N1...exciting times!

@SaddleSC really curious to see what you think of the RJ2 in comparison to the N1. I’d love to pick up an N1 someday. Not sure if these two fill the same need. But when has “need” ever mattered to the jacket obsessed??
Agreed! I have a bit of a jacket obsession. I really love the Iron Heart's interpretation of the N1. After adding the oil-finished black version this season, that brings my total to three of them:) I plan to sell at least one of them in the next month or so, but my favorite seems to change on a daily basis.
I will be sure to post a comparison between the RJ2, the IH N1, and the new IH A2 that I snagged on black Friday from ISP.
I don't have a shipping confirmation yet for the RJ2 but I will keep you posted. Hopefully, it will be dispatched tomorrow fingers crossed!

@SaddleSC A comparison would be cool to read. The N1 is one of my grail pieces for sure so the RJ2 has def been on my radar. I just picked up an 11oz western flannel from freenote--interested to see how it stacks up to my UHF's

Thanks! As soon as I get the RJ2 and A2 in hand I will start posting some comparison pics with my N1...keep us posted on the Freenote flannel. I have a bunch of UHFs but this season added a few UES heavy flannels that I have been very happy with. I am interested to hear your thoughts on the Freenote!

in regards to the 11oz flannels from Freenote they are very nice. I only have one but I would like to get another. I feel they stack up well against the UHF it is a matter of which you like the fit of better or the color/pattern.
-
@pmadison95 oh yeah man they’re thick as hell. I do like the fit of UHFs more. But the Bensons are a close second.

I picked up this Freenote Calico corduroy shirt over the holidays and couldn’t be happier.
The cord, is soft and luxurious feeling right out of the box and the snaps are just perfect. I’m 6’2” and 175lbs wearing an XL.
-
@Mizmazzle Thanks man, I highly recommend it.
I could be wrong but I think the corduroy only comes in brown and black!
-
@Mizmazzle I need to know about the doggie goggles!
-
@popvulture Carl has this shitty eye condition called, Pannus. It’s brought about by UV light from the sun and elevation. Two elements Colorado has in abundance. So, the goggles have to be worn when we’re out hiking or even on daily park runs if the sun is out. Which, Colorado being the second sunniest state, is the large majority of days.

@Mizmazzle yeah that’s the Jepson in Olive Corduroy. May still be able to find it
