I think a wash was a good call. Looks much better on you [emoji106]
BTW, that Goros set up is jawdropping!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

thanks guys. i really love the fit of it now too. it doesn't feel too "cardboardish" now and more hugging fit, which i how i like my jackets.
Thanks @Anesthetist quite a basic set up compared to many others out there. that was over a year ago i think. i've since added a stoplight co in between the feathers. the queue of goros render my unable to get my desired feather and i refuse to pay resale price which is at it's highest point now..

Looks great @louisbosco . And you can button it! with slack! :o wtf!
-
Thanks louis for the update. I'm worried about the shrinkage but am glad to hear it softens up.

don't worry too much. it's slightly minimal. but then again, it all depends how your current fit of your jacket is now.
cheers @steelworker i'm starting to love it more now with this fit.

After a slow start this jacket really took off.
-
missed this jacket for a while. finally "cold" enough to wear them again.
-
I wore mine today again after some months break. It's way stiffer than I recalled (probably the Fullcount has changed my perception as well). Maybe too stiff…I'm considering selling it now.
-
give it a wash. it should soften up… it did with mine..
-
Any hope of a black version of this, maybe with slightly slimmer arms?
-
Here are the pre and post measurements of the sample 101J i've been wearing for a while….it's an XL.
It's just had it's first wash since the initial soak so i'll grab some more measurements and photos and add them soon.
@Winchy I'm confused… Page says one-washed so little shrinkage, but this seems like a huge amount of shrinkage.
Am I remembering correctly that these used to be sold raw and your post is referencing those olden days?
Should one expect that the current iteration will not shrink nearly this much? -
Hi @TaBLemann
That's correct, the sample I was given was raw so will have had more shrinkage left in it. The current one-washed version won't have that much shrinkage in them at all.
