The silk wash would work but I’d use the tub. There’s always a chance of marbling.

I've put new denim in the wash before, and they've came out with lightly faded streaks?

That’s the marbling. A good trick to minimise that risk is to soak thoroughly first. Then wash.

Hello all.
I warm soaked the jacket yesterday, I think it has shrunk a little
but still stiff. and hopefully will soften out, after wear

@Indigohuntsman, great to see this thread getting revived with a new wearer. The 101 is my favourite IH jacket and yours too should look like this after a year if you wear it a lot…
