can i get an answer to my previous question @giles?  waist 33.5, can i fit into 666s tagged size 32? im from jakarta, indonesia, so wont be able to do live-fitting heheh.

not sure how you measured your waist..what other jeans / sizes do u wear ?

I got my 666s today and the fit is perfect before a soak.
I can button up.but there is no more room in the waist as in David's case. Size 31w.
I deliberated over the 32s.

If i cold soak does it mean I should never eventually wash them in anything other than cold water? (may be a dumb question but a bit of an unsanforized virgin)

Should I warm soak and work hard to stretch them back at the waist?

return for a 32w? As i say the fit everywhere from waist to thigh to hem is perfect.

if you had no problem buttoning them up - do a warm soak…always possible to stretch back out

They were tough to button up but that was more the stiffness of the denim than my girth.

@beatle i measured according to yr "how we measure" instructions. i used an old pair of jeans (local, straight cut) that i really like the fit of. i measure 86cm/33.9in in the waist in them. that pair of jeans is a (tagged) size 32. i generally wear size 32 (at least for the last 5 years).

yeah, that helps..judging by plain waist measurements I would recommend a 33. But - make sure the thigh measurements work out. Same procedure..hehe

Worry over. Gave a warm soak for 1 hour and can button up. A bit tight but reckon they should stretch out nicely. Will do some pics this week

Soaked mine over the weekend, and they fit perfectly. Love these jeans! Definitely helped wearing them damp, even then had to lie down to put jeans on for the first time. No such issues now.

@seul i have a hard time sizing for slimmer jeans since im always afraid of getting something that's far too tight. i got a 31. i could have gotten a 30 but a 29 would have been too tight.

Soaked these in warm water as advised. Kind of amazed they fit so well in the waist.
Just goes to show how useful some good advice is. Playing around with footwear in pics.
I was really satisfied with these until I saw Beattle's latest BB pics  :-\
