"…don´t compare, just wear!" -
Giles, is the restock going to have any 35s? I was looking @ the size chart again and it says to expect an inch of stretch in the waist and I'm not sure that's enough if the 34 has a 32.8" waist. Usually a little stretch from a tag size 34 does me perfectly and I wouldn't want to get too much stretch from a 36 on these. Your thoughts?

you sir is correct…

Serioiusly, a 38!?!? How's that working out for you. My XHS is a 34 and the fit can't be beat. Just enough room to tuck shirts in should I start feeling suave. I'm willing to withstand a little discomfort but I don't want it to be for nothing. Maybe 36 isn't such a bad option after all… if it really only stretches an inch that would be great. I just keep hearing Giles in my head preaching the virtues of same size, every jean, period.

well if you look at the size chart of the OD you'll see that the 38 measures 35 actually…
After some wear the jeans is almost going to stretch to tag size...my 38 is measuring 37 by now...
I could have also went for a 36, but at that time I don't think I was able to button up all the buttons and I didn't want to go through that hustle...the 38 was fitting perfectly from day one...And I'm with jaco on this…size one up when choosing OD denim!
What's the waist of your XHS's measuring now?
-
I think I'm at 35 now which is pretty consistent w/ my most comfortable jeans - a 34 tag stretching to a 35. That's why I'm stuck, the size I want the most is the one I can't get. I guess I can see if Giles can find me a particularly big 34 or a particularly small 36, but I don't want to be a pain in his arse. That's British for ass from what I've seen during Oasis interviews.
But the consensus I'm seeing is size up one… which I can't do until they make a 35.

Matt-
I wear a tagsize 34 in the IH-B01s (33W that has already stretched to 34), tagsize 33 in the IH-B01-SBG (already at 34W) and a tagsize 34 in the 666XHS (which is closer to a 35W from the start). I tried on the tagsize 36 in the 666od last week at DC4 and they were super tight. I could just about get the top button closed and it was not at all comfortable. There was extensive plumber butt when I sat down as well due to the lower rise. If you are a natural 35 waist (I am somewhere around 34-34.5), then you may want to consider the tagsize 38
