IH-555N - 17oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Jeans - Natural Indigo

@oxbridge , what a great post. You have sold me on this denim. Would love to read your thoughts on other denims.

Yes, a great and considered post. But we won't be changing the arcs or the patch. We are what we are, if others (for e.g. ROY) what to have a simple patch, that is up to them and their aesthetic. The 555-01 and the 555-02, do have arcs, they are just indigo yarn, the reason they are indigo and not yellow is that these jeans were initially a collab and I let the customer drive the details.
We have customers who remove the arcs and the patches with no detriment to the jean….

@madmonday Thanks, I think IH is becoming a very interesting brand. I definitely look forward to see how it stacks up against other fantastic denim like 45rpm, Oni, Samurai or PBJ.
@Giles I didn't mean IH should change anything. Your denim are already fantastic. And I like arcs and complex patches.
I meant within your current IH lineup I've seen some patches (monochrome, e.g. IH-666S-19L) that look nicer. Same for arcs, as I thought 555-01 and 555-02 were arc-less. And I would consider a plain look would work better to highlight a very interesting fabric. Many denim maisons do this. E.g., Oni Shoai doesn't use Oni's trademark curved arcs.

@oxbridge SE has IH 17oz organic/natural super slim cut jeans with tonal arcs. Thought this might interest you. This is 301n model though so slightly different.

Ok, so here's the deal:
For my next pair I'd optimally like something like my 666s but with a 35,5"-36" waist and a bit slimmer in the knees and the hem and with a bit less of space in the top block. I've narrowed it all down to these and in comparison to the measurements on my 666:s they seem to fit the bill perfectly. I'd like a bit of a lower rise but maybe it's the oversized waist of the 666:s that's bugging me and makes the top block feel too loose. Initially I didn't even look in the 555 direction because of the "super-duper-slim"-moniker but these don't seem that different. Anything I'm missing or could these be it?
E:666s measurements are actual and directly after being washed. Worn on and off for three years. Waist is way too loose for me (never shrunk down to tag size). My 634s have the perfect actual waist for me at 35,5". Even though I always wear a belt I don't like the belt to be the one keeping my pants upThese will shrink about 0,5" in the waist and stretch out if needed and the hem will shrink by an inch. Shouldn't be a problem either re hem width even if I hem them an inch or so shorter.
In addition very tempted by the organic cotton/natural indigo thing.
I've checked pretty much all of the brands but very hard to find something with a thigh-to-hem-ratio like these.

Get these or dare I say it the 777. you already did the 666 cut & I need another big unit in these to show the world despite the name anybody type can rock them.
Oh & the denim feels like you can wear it year round without any swamp nuts, hahahahaha
@Jii:
Ok, so here's the deal, these could be it
on a closely related note, I washed my pair in pretty hot water & the hem didn't shrink an inch . . .

@madmonday the 777:s (21 oz) are in the comparison chart but no 36 in stock and rise is wayyyy low. Besides I've already experienced that denim..
Big unit sounded quite nice actually

Too bad was just about to list my pair in a 34, hahaha
