IHSH-68-blk - 12oz Wabash Work Shirt - Black

Yeah, it's such a great-looking shirt. Glad to hear shrinkage can be avoided, if that's what's needed!

I have a blue work shirt and a black western. I didn't measure, but I don't think there was significant shrinkage on either of mine. I machine wash cold, tumble dry hot; these aren't any different than my other clothes in that regard.
I don't treat my shirts especially well…

Wow. Those guys have been doing some serious eatin' since they were last in stock!

First ever Iron Heart purchase. Love it! Huge thanks to Adam for measuring every last XL to find me the one with the widest shoulders. Roll on autumn!

Looking good, man. Congrats.

(...although my second purchase is already winging its way over here :D)

I just ordered an XL on the basis of the new slightly wider chest measurements. I can't wait to get this…obviously i'll be able to wear it come the weekend when temperatures are merely at 30+ degrees C!

Arm length and hem length look spot on and the body fits great. I can see you fill out the shoulders but it looks good still. The important thing is whether you feel you can get on with them.
You’d defo need some serious shrinkage for arms on an XXL to work so I can see your point.
How did you get on with the vest?
-
@neph93 I am inbetween sizes in just about all IH items. It can be frustrating when you the see how perfectly they fit others. S7ch is life. I've found my perfect fit in jeans, the 555, and XXL fits well in most IH jackets.
I think I will keep the XL ihsh 68 blk. Like most IH fabrics it's pretty crisp straight out the bag. With wear the give and softening will help relax the shoulder. I rarely wash my clothes for more than 30 mins on 30c so shrinkage shouldn't be an issue. The only shirt I got any real shrinkage out of (without intentionally trying) is my indigo ihsh 33, which is expected to shrink. That fits me pretty nicely.
Thanks for the expertise and advice, as ever mate

And no vest yet. I'm frankly waiting to see what happens weather wise as a shirt and vest in 30+ degrees would not be fun. My wife is also not a fan…Like most...of vests. She thinks they have an old man vibe. I did remind her that as I turned 45 yesterday, I am indeed an old man
