Got these in the mail yesterday. Horus is an interesting brewery. The brewer/owner has a full time job as an accountant and brews in his spare time.

Hey all,
Living in Boulder I have a pretty decent grasp on the beer world, but is there anything that I may have missed that you'd recommend I have to try??
My two local Seattle favorties: Holy Mountain Brewing and Cloud Burst brewing.

Had this on two successive nights so that I could better compare them. Both excellent, but a slight edge to the Cascade version.

Two highlights. From last night. Very different beers, but both excellent.

Saw this in my local grocery store and couldn't resist. Spoetzl Brewery is located in Shiner, Texas, and has been brewing beer since 1909. Its flagship beer is Shiner Bock, a dark lager that is actually not bad for a mass market beer. Apparently, they decided to get into small batch craft beer.
This isn't bad, and I did not realize it was 11% ABV until I emptied the bottle, so that's a plus, I guess. -
Sounds like a score to me.
Not been posting much as I’m on a budget and been sticking to tried and tested VFM beers but I had a couple of good ones recently. Norwegian breweries seem to be on a milk/dessert stout trip and they’re killing it:
The Welsh are trying to keep up. At only 5-5abv this was good
I ate about half a kilo of good cheese this evening. Washed it down with this:
Very good stuff and surprisingly reasonable.
