Speaking of which, Brut IPA’s are apparently all the rage now. Tried my first last night. I hope this trend lasts until summer as if this one is anything to go by they’ll be obligatory drinking come July…

In common with Seul I’m a fan of this brewery. Their “Cellar Series” has been a mixed bag however. This is good though. Will probably be great in a year or two.

I called the liquor store and asked them about this particular brewery and I guess it was a seasonal run back in November. He had one 4 pk left and saved it for me. $16 though  ??? Guess i'll find out tonight if it's good or if it tastes like skunk piss

Yeah, the chocolate truffle porter had a bitter aftertaste that didn't sit too well with me. Prior to buying this beer I read some negative reviews of the chocolate and hazelnut truffle but positive reviews for the raspberry truffle.
