What's your favorite Beer?

This is pretty heavy/thick/syrupy like fucking motor oil at 17.2% Saw it and had to try it. On a positive note the alcohol isn’t all that prevalent in the taste.
Was it good?

Yes it is!
I'll be dammed - it's everywhere now. It's not terrible, if you haven't had it.

Not really, struggled to finish it. Wouldn’t buy it again.
Good to know. I’ll avoid it like the plague.
It’s always a bummer to find something that looks interesting but tastes like crap.

Yes I like it a lot. I have to work in Texas often and I have probably had a total of 2 -3 cases of it.

@mclaincausey have you ever tried https://www.weldwerksbrewing.com/ before? Not sure if their beer is your cuppa tea but it looks good. Appears to be hard to find in Minnesota.

http://drekkerbrewing.com/ out of Fargo, ND, is another one that looks interesting

@Filthy:
Worth buying a whole case or nah?
Any beer that is said to go well with chocolate is not a beer imo….
I was wondering what you were talking about (so I withheld responding). But I finally had a chance to look this up on BA and I see what you mean about being paired with chocolate.
I am guessing that I probably wouldn't like this because it is so sweet. I am kind of getting burned out on sweet very alcoholic beers. Thanks for the advice. I am sure most of you beer snobs will cringe… but I will stick with my go to Newcastle. Plus I can get 3 cases of Newcastle for the price of one of those...

Nothing wrong with Newcastle. I’ve been on a bit of a dessert beer kick, mainly out of curiosity and because I like trying different beers every time I go to the liquor store. But yes, the high cost of craft beer can be a bitter pill to swallow sometimes, especially when you can get more for less with bigger established breweries. But since there’s a gazillion craft breweries these days I tend to fall for those companies with gimmicky beers. I’m sure I’ll get burnt out on it eventually

Can you mail beer? I have a half a case of Mad Elf with you name on it. I got it as a Christmas gift and I could only get down a 12er. It is so sweet and alcoholic. I used to love it, now not so much.
Also, Newcastle goes down like water to me. I love it. As long as it isn't skunky, which often happens because of the clear glass bottles.

You can’t mail beer as far as I know. Thx for the offer though
