^ that Evil Twin brew on the far left first pic is the rudest impy stout I've had all year. I ended up buying six. It's a beaut.

How is it? I considered picking up a bottle today at the store, but eventually decided on other stuff instead.

Did you have time to enjoy a beer I´ve send you @neph93 ?
Perhaps the story behind Norway custom is also interesting.I've started writing this up so many times then a baby starts crying or a dog needs walking
The short version in that Aetas sorted me out some amazing beers at some not inconsiderable expense to himself, only for Norwegian customs to get all… Well, Norwegian. Like €65 in tax Norwegian. Fekkers. To add insult to injury I wasn't allowed to pick up the beers from the post office outside of the monopoly's rather restrictive opening hours. Morons.
Anyway, thanks to Aetas I was able to drink amazing brews for the first time. Aetas, you are a true gent and a forum star!
All the De Molen were fantastic, especially the barley wine. The Cantillon was just out of this world, I'd write some tasting notes but they'd be pornographic. In addition Aetas included a mystery beer. It turned out to be a tasty IPA, just with the worlds worst label [emoji38]

I just picked one of these up yesterday. What did you think?
Here are a few from date night with my wife
Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine - it was OK
Epic Brainless on Peaches - really interesting, aged in Chardonnay barrels -

I thought it was good but not great. To be fair I probably served it a bit too cold, so at first the flavor was very linear. As it warmed up a bit, the potent bourbon flavor broke down and the cask wood, cherry, and malts won out. I would buy another if Costco gets it again but wouldnt go out of my way to find it.
