Some people up here are offended by that awesome film, made by Minnesotans. I think it's harmless ribbing. Plus, the most admirable character in the film couldn't be Minnesota Nicer.
-
The title is misleading: the money I think is buried in Fargo, but the majority of the film takes place (and is shot) in Minnesota, in Brainerd and Minneapolis.
-
It is–but they are also offended by the char(icatures)acters, especially the Brainerd hussies! I think they're hilarious!

Ooooh doncha know uffda it surely is there seul!

All scores in bar one… Straights A's across the board.... One more and I'm ready for summer break
well done lad! now pass the last one and reward yourself with some IH
Done! 4.0 cumulative GPA still!!! And… I rewarded myself a little early (2 days ago my Banglu came in and i ordered my type III brown duck ), I knew that no matter what I got on the finals that there was a minimal chance I would not make all A's. <--- this is not me being arrogant, I just have busted my ass all semester to make sure I was set. If I had to pick my weak point in school, I would say it is test taking.. I get test anxiety bad sometimes no matter how well I know the criteria. Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

Thanks again snowman, raf, g&p, seancono, rocket, seul and everyone (hope I remembered all the well wishers!). Really appreciate all the positive vibrations!

Excuse the ferocity of the following rant but anyone else had any experience with Fedex or DHL? What a bunch of useless c**ts!!!! I got a card through last thursday saying they'd popped by at 11am and no-one was home (not an unusual occurrence I would have thought). I telephoned to rearrange another delivery for the next day saying i'd be home 'til 2.15pm. At 11am the next day I checked tracking and it hadn't left the depot. Rang (again - at 10p a minute) to ask where it was. Response: the depot hadn't heard back from you?! Can't pick the parcel up from them…can't see when they can deliver (I work in the week and they don't work weekends and can't tell you if they'll be passing in the morning or afternoon). The worst is that you have to pay extra (via telephone 0800 number) to solve their fuck-ups...ie they make more cash providing a shite service than they do a good one. Unbelievable.
Why can't shops send via the normal post???? I had even worse problems with DHL (driver signed in my name and left the IH jawns in front of a neighbors gaff on the 3rd floor, having opened the package?!). UPS seem the only service worth it's salt. Long live the normal Postal service and FUCK couriers I say!!!! -
I could rant all day, and all night about Parcelforce.
