Please talk to the Boss Giles and get the arm length of the new flannels straightened out. Ive missed out on 3 of them so far this year because the arms on a xxxl are too short. Not sure if all sizes have been comming up short but usually a xxxl has over 27"
I hope that if changes can be made, that they are made specifically to the sizes that might need to change, rather than changing the measurements for all the sizes. For example the sleeves on the xxxl might need to change, but the sleeves on the (m) are fine. Likewise the shoulders on the (m) need to be wider (I would love a minimum of 17.5") but the shoulders on the larger sizes might be fine as they are.
Definitely a complicated issue
Another reason I love Iron Heart. They offer us detailed sizing measurements, inevitably complicating everything, and then they have to listen to us split hairs over .3" or so. Other brands don't even offer measurements or the opportunity to criticize their measurements. I appreciate IHUK's openness and willingness to offer as much detail as possible. It makes the buying experience so much more enjoyable and personal

I agree with you Adam. Love the forum and the brand for those reasons. Just noticed the last 3 UHFs (in 3XL) have shorter arms then usual
-
Yeah for me the sleeves on the recent XL are perfect. Don't go changing every size please.

The arms are crucial for me too @pillowPANTS - it's usually the deciding factor whether I purchase or not.
I understand that if the cut works for 9 out of 10 people, it does not make sense to change anything, but it still sucks when you love an upcoming piece and the fit just isn't going to work for you.
I'm not complaining, I'd be broke and homeless, albeit well-dressed, if every IH shirt fit me.

It must be giving Giles an ulcer though. Especially dealing with the picky lot of us.
Love you, IHUK!!

They are probably made by different people/factories and hence the difference in cut/dimensions.

Just to add my 2 cents into the mix, the 101 in medium was perfect for me, but I've found the 130 to be a little short in the body and the sleeves. Seems like the trend especially for the westerns has been towards the shorter side, and I hope it reverses.

I edited most of it away. I feel bad bitching about small differences in dimensions. I am really interested in fascinating fabrics and there are plenty of them to be found here.
Would I like a western snap shirt with a 17.5-18" shoulder measurement and a 20.5-21.5" chest with a 28-28.5" length and 24.5-25" sleeve?? Of course.
But there have already been so many shirts like this that I have or haven't jumped on. No doubt. Classics have been made and missed. It's has to be very difficult to do again and again with all the variables. But I'm happy to own some really exquisite fabrics, with exactly these dimensions. The variables just make it all more interesting.

Crazy check black? The 51 reincarnation? Grey ombre? Feck. Thought I´ll get away with the charcoal plain
