THIS OR THAT?

The weight isn't a big factor either way. And I'm inclined to agree with Cutty that the 6oz will be versatile, (easy to wear a vest over amongst other things).
With regards to the wife, I think she's given up. I've got my hands on an indigo 62 to go with my indigo 68 recently. She thinks they're the same shirt [emoji854]

so atm. i'm in a comfortable situation where i can chose between 3 different work offers…honestly i'm not really sure though what to do ^^
had 3 job interviews in december and after all 3 turned out to be positive, i've went to my actual boss, told him about'em and asked him what he has in mind for me and my career in the actual company (the company i'm with for 3.5 years now).
since the first project is almost completely done, i want to know what's next, so that's why i'm in the situation i'm in now
now i have one good external offer, where they offer me the same position i'm in now (construction engineer working on site) but with an financial upgrade of 20k a year (compared to now) and with an awesome project right in the hard of the city i'm living in (6min. from my door to the office, 10min. to construction site). the company itself is way smaller than the one i'm in now but the people owning it and the guy which could be my project manager all seemed super friendly and cool. besides that, the company really cheered for me and really want to be a part of their team.
the 2nd external offer is a great office where i handed in my papers myself (the other papers where handed in from a head hunter). so today i just heard back from them and that they want to invite me for a 2nd and final interview (which is where i get to know all the details about their offer). some ex-colleagues are working there already and the company itself works with the exact same programs and systems as i do now, so the change wouldn't be that big as well.
the 3rd and last offer, which i received last week, is from my actual company. at first, which was last year, they didn't had a upfollowing project for me to work on.
they offered me my 2nd promotion (from construction engineer to jr. project manager) in the 3.5 years i'm with them now. the difference here though would be, that i'd be responsible for a site worth of something close to 14mio. (which is a good size while starting with the project manager job) and my first own team. the pros would be that i already know the whole company, i already know the guys i just "have to know", i'd get to keep my 9 week vacation for this year (4.5weeks overtime during the last 3.5 years), i'd get the promotion inside the company i'm working for a "long" time now, i'd get a raise and i'd be able to prove myself and take it from there.so what would jesus (or you guys) do? ^^
since it's the first time i have to decide about this, being 29 and in the first real job ever, i thought i should get back to you guys and share my thoughts with you.
so thanks for getting back in advance or even for reading this...
much love

I would always listen to my head then follow my heart. Which one do you FEEL is right for you versus which one do you think is right? Go with your feeling. You have to live with your decision.
Awesome skills btw having three choices [emoji122]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Finn666 - It sounds like you are in the perfect situation. The best time to search for a new job is always while you already have one haha.
It sounds like you are excited about all the offers, so you can't really lose.
However, on a personal level, I always give my original employers the opportunity to meet my needs, which is sounds like you have done. They were the ones who initially invested their risk and training towards you, so that's always a great relationship to have.
Best of luck in 2017 mate

now that's exactly what i'm thinking and how i'm feeling right now…besides all the pros i've listed in my first post.
gonna meet up with a friend of mine tomorrow to discuss this a little bit deeper but also the gf and everybody else say to stick with the actual company and their offer
thanks guys!

even if i'm not that active anymore, or let's say if i was not that active anymore, your guys opinion is always important to me (which is crazy somehow, but on the other hand it's not ^^).
thanks again buddy
shit dude, i've known you longer than my wife haha
from when we were college kids in 660s to young adults in Iron Hearts and workout kit, the "internet pants friends" thing has always been a cool outlet in my life and i would help all those who have been a joy to interact with over the years.

I agree with Appfaff mate, providing that you are happy with your existing employer, which based upon your comments, you seem to be.
Well done and good luck!!!!

i definitely agree with what the others have said. i'm a strong believer of loyalty to a company. in any case, if the roles were switched, i would hope for the same from my employee. the way i see it nowadays, job loyalty isn't a strong suit amongst most millennials.

and @den1mhead @Appfaff @Cutlasshound @louisbosco and to all the guys that wrote me a pm or even a whatsapp message…THANKS A TON Y'ALL!
so yesterday and today i heard back from my bosses again and was given some more details about the upcoming project (about the construction site itself but also about the financial situation the promotion is going to get me).
met up with one of my closest friends tonight and had a couple of beers. talked with him about the offers i've received and yeah, i think i've now made up my mind and know what i want to do next.
for now i've decided to turn down the external offer #1 tomorrow.
this because i think the best offer to go with and to ask for, is the recent one from my actual company!!!
and that's not just cuz they pay a little bit better as the company from offer #1 would do, most of all, cuz i think that it's going to be the best for my personal career and personal evolution as a human being!and even though i now know what i want, i still feel bad about the other company :|
-
so now after i've turned down the first offer 1.5 weeks ago, the story continues ^^
today i had my 2nd interview at the company i've introduced as:
…the 2nd external offer is a great office where i handed in my papers myself (the other papers where handed in from a head hunter). so today i just heard back from them and that they want to invite me for a 2nd and final interview (which is where i get to know all the details about their offer). some ex-colleagues are working there already and the company itself works with the exact same programs and systems as i do now, so the change wouldn't be that big as well. ...
i've got to know one of the big bosses and also the other guy, i had the first interview with him, was joining us as well.
the interview itself started of pretty good and also ended that way 2 hours later
so right now i'm chilling at home on my couch, with possible contract-papers right beside me… which both of the guys already have signedfml ??? ...i really didn't think it would be that hard, to decide on your future (job) and at what company you'll be working for the next 2,3,4,5 years...shit is fecking crazy!
-

Don't worry, after a while you get used to having no clue what you're doing.
You should have kids; that makes figuring out a career seem easy…

Personal development would sway it for me @Finn666
On a considerably more serious note than jobs, careers, and life changing decisions, I have a pressing first world problem that I need sorting out. I'm looking at a pair of high end Norwegian made work boots and can't make up my mind which leather I want. They'll be worn with indigo jeans and work trousers for the most part (shocker I know), and I've been looking at them so long I've almost lost the will to buy a pair. So dear fellow forum member, which pair floats YOUR boat and why:
Dark brown Chromexcel:
Horween Roast Coffee Bayou:
Horse front, natural tan:
And a little more out there, black Zug and brown latigo:
All input much appreciated.

Agreed. Bayou.
