The Flat Head

I just picked up a ratted out DND from eBay for $45. The fucker ripped the pocket flaps off for a "cleaner" look. It doesn't look clean, as the areas where the pockets attached are less faded than the surrounding denim. Still, $45.
Saw that and was about to BIN instantly, thank god I read the description. I would rather just ditch out the other $140 and get a new one.

Anyone seen the DV-01w in person? I'm wondering if this will give me wabash vest fix (picture from Earthmarket on Rakuten)

I think I'm going to get the 3009 soon. To those of you that have experience with the busters, how do they compare?
I have a pair in size 31 but I'm looking for something with a slightly lower rise, more thigh room, and a bit larger waist as my busters have gotten a little tight. I'm thinking go with a 32 and hot soak them to get all shrinkage out, thoughts?

I can't comment on busters. But for 3009 go tts if… minus .5-1" from measurements of a couple websites or forums are ok with your body. Then just tough it out for the waist for a couple wears. There an amazing cut for skinny people, as in I dont look like a stick figure while wearing them. Haha

Holy cow where the hell can you get one for $185? Even on Rakuten it's more than that…

All I can say is that their idea of a 42 is a bit snug, if accurate in the chest. I have a western that is ironically roomier than a work shirt in the same size. Can't figure those guys out. Love their shirts though.

They make regular size, and wide size. You need to check info before you buy them. Some stores wont even list it.

Supa Giles:
I recall a wicked leather jacket or two by FH a couple of years ago, about $1300-1500
What happened to those?
