^ Could not word it better @sabergirl !

Odd… I consider myself to relatively endowed in the derrière department and the rise isn’t really any more of an issue than on any other dry denim - if anything they stay up On me way better than my 634 or 8301s do.

My skinny ass on the other hand… totally the opposite problem.

It's not so much a matter of staying up per se but a matter of providing complete coverage on my backside, especially when bending over (plumbers crack anyone?). They by far have the lowest rise of any other IH cut I've owned. However, with that being said if I get the size right it is a great cut with a flattering fit. Its just a matter of finding them with a bigger thigh and just enough rise.
-
Oddly the 777 rise is less of an issue for those of us with a generous booty, hips and thighs. They seem to stay in place and reveal much less butt cleavage than on the waifs out there.
-
yeah that's just not the case for me lol…and don't understand that logic either. I've got all three of those from never skipping leg days and the rise is just barely tall enough to cover the booty. Maybe it's an issue of how long or tall one's posterior is from a vertical stand point? lol..I don't know but I've spent way too much time discussing the booty coverage a pair of men's jeans provides.

Nice dark face on that denim.

The fade contrast on those is going to be ridiculous.

Thanks guys - the Denim is one of my favorite thus far. Feels substantial, but quite flexible and breathable thus far. Can’t bring myself to wear anything else.

@Appfaff is the denim softening up? The original 14oz denim is gloriously soft. I need to sell my size 33 666’s because they are too big and I’m wondering whether to replace them with another pair of the original denim or wait for this denim in the 666 cut.
-
Just so I'm clear…is there any other difference between this and the original 14oz denim other than the twisted double yarn weft?
-
The Denim had a really soft hand on the face, even when new - however it is quite crispy, although not abrasive to any degree. It’s starting to really soften up after about 5 days wear, so I can imagine 21oz softness very soon.
